Why in the hell do you kick that? These coaches man....wow

Do we not have a second string kicker?

Well, we were clearly the better team today, but our kicker may be the worst in history right now. This game should not have been nearly as close as it was leading me be to believe we CAN beat UL at home. If we don't need Miliano to close the deal.

Cats get the win. UC was clearly the better team today, and honestly should have won by 20+. The mistakes were awful though, and must be addressed moving forward. Also, TT was livid with Prunty (or at least mad about something and talking to him about it) the last few minutes of the game which I thought was strange since the Dline played well IMO. I assume he was just frustrated in general with the game still being in reach.

Bottomline, cats get the win and I'm glad that one is behind us. Correct the mistakes in the bye week and prepare for a top 25 matchup with Louisville at a rocking Nippert stadium on the 5th. Oh...And go USF and SMU.

Well said!! I second everything. Lol for us to give that any points away and still win, thats impressive ha. I can not wait to be at the Nipp for the final game!! Just think, that will be the last memory we will ave being there before the big renovation!!

I think he was pissed we called a timeout when we were trying to drain the clock....but it didn't cost us that much. I was happy to see coach TT getting irate since we haven't seen much of that out of him to date.

Also, I'm listening to TT on the post game. I like that he sounds disappointed, he knows it shouldn't have been close. Also nice to hear him say the field is an absolute embarrassment to play on. And TT just called out UC fans!!!!! I love it :) thats what I'm talking about! ( for those that didnt hear it, he did it in a good way)

I am with TT on fan support but how did he call out UC fans at an away game? Not enough fans at the game? As long as we sell out the last game I will be happy.

Could have blown them out of the water but nearly crapped the bed.
For the love of God, can we kick a !$%^$% field goal?
The defense was as good as we could ask. 7 of those points are on Kay, for trying to force a ball into tight coverage while passing out of HIS OWN endzone.

But, glad we got the win.

Believe it was more of "we need you for the Louisville game." And it will be sold out; only a few hundred seats remain.

I was happy to see some fire in him as well. And I agree, I think he was mad because the defense wasn't ready and had to call a timeout. You're in a prevent defense. You know you're assignment, it doesn't really change. You get back to the line and get in formation. It was a quick 3rd down play, but still no need to have to give them a free TO to get to call a play. What I was most happy about was that the guy didn't argue back. He just listened and took it. I'm sure they'll smooth things out behind close doors and I doubt Tuberville is really even mad at him, just airing out frustrations, but the last thing you need is a sideline incident in front or the cameras and the players.

14 of those points are on Kay. That fumble was ridiculous. I don't know what the play call was but he was daydreaming out there. It looks like he forgot he was running a fake and forgot he had the ball, he was just standing there with the ball dangling. Seriously, what was that play supposed to do? He made no move whatsoever to pass that ball. I don't know if it was a bad design or not, but you have to be aware of the defense running full speed at you regardless. I think he must've had a mental lapse out there and unfortunately it cost us seven points. At least it didn't cost us the game.

Andrew Gantz from Moeller. He lost to Miliano in the pre-season, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

And it was absolutely the right call to kick in that situation. The field was bad and the kicker has more than struggled, but that is a chip shot to seal the game. A missed FG was no different than going for it and not picking up the first down. There would be absolutely no way you put the ball in the air in that situation. They needed a good three yards to pick up the first and vs. a D stacking the run that is a tough get. Kicking it was the best option. Bottom line is you have to still play the game the right way and expect your players to execute. Miliano didn't, but it was the right call.

Huge game against Louisville. Every time I think of that USF game I get sick to my stomach. Could be undefeated in league right now, probably ranked and with a better shot at a BCS game. Still all in all a good first year for TT and the team especially if they beat Louisville. Also considering we will be beginning stadium renovations soon,I'd say the program is trending up.

absolutely the right thing was to kick the FG. If he can't make chip shots it time to find a new kicker.

Yeah that USF loss is looming very large right now. And as much as you definitely want to go to the BCS game, it might not be the worst thing in the world to not go and get embarassed vs. a really good team. The Bearcats are what they are and for our league we are good, but we're nowhere near the level of the top ten teams in the country. With that said, lets beat Louisville and hope UCF slips up.

better the bowl the more money for the school. Also you never give up a opportunity to play against a quality team because you may get blown out. Any time you get a chance to play in a big game against big time programs you jump t it. The good far outweighs the negative. If you lose it's what is expected if you win or play well it can only enhance the status and exposure of your program.

It was a designed play where Kay hides the ball after play action. He has to hold it a bit longer to sell the run. The key to the play is blindside protection holding up which it clearly did not. If you watch the replay, one of the wideouts was streaking down the field after his defender bit on the run and Kay was starting to bring the ball up right when he was hit. Obviously the play looked horrible and ridiculous because of the result, but I blame the LT rather than Kay on that play.
