You are the only one I know who would rather be in Ohio in the dead of winter for a game.
Get me a plane ticket for this thing, stat.
I bet if you took a poll the overwhelming majority of people will be spending Christmas with their families. And honestly my thoughts are more that it is unfair to ask these athletes and coaches and staff to have to spend Christmas away from their families just to satisfy the whims of ESPN that want to have a live game on at 8 pm on Christmas Eve. I doubt either team playing in this game draws anywhere near as many fans to this game as they would if it were a few days removed from Christmas.
Truth be told, UC played Hawaii back in 2009 I believe and my wife and I made the trip. There were maybe 50 UC fans there. Granted that's not a bowl game but it was the year we went to the Orange Bowl and fan support was at its highest. I would jump at the chance to go to Hawaii again and especially if the Bearcats were playing but I can guarantee it won't be for Christmas.
