I thought it was night and day. Not knocking Jenifer though in any way, shape or form by saying that...we needed everything he gave us in the 1st half.

I know Troy is just being a good leader right now but my biggest knock on him last season was he didn't assert himself enough on offense. He hasn't had to yet but there will be games where he needs to step up and take over, I hope he's more willing to do it this season when needed.

Story of the game

Cobb was 6-11 from 3. Cobb is shooting 60% on the year from 3 so far. 12-20. 60 F-ing %!!!

Our 3 bigs had 31 rebounds

You could say the ball sailed into the air and curved like a penis into the hoop

To put that in perspective. Of all players in NCAA who had shot as many 3's as he did before this game....there were only 5 players with a better %. HIs % went DOWN on a 6-11 shooting night. That poor guy

Looks like the UC reporting isn't much better than BGSU announcing. Cobb led all scorers with 20 points. 17 of which were in the first half and 8 of which cam e quickly in the second half.

Obviously his %'s are going to go down over the course of the year but I've said time and time again that I expect Cobb to shoot at a much higher % this year and is really the key to how far the team goes. He has such a smooth stroke when he sets his feet. Last year he was very streaky b/c it was his first year. He has the ability to make it from anywhere at anytime and that really opens the offense.

Yes I agree...but if he can shoot over 40% on the year we will be doing great. Obviously Troy can shoot over 40% as he did last year. KJ just needs to be more selective...he's got a beautiful stroke. Evans seems to know when to take a good shot. Jenifer is getting more selective.

I think Troy will have a harder time shooting over 40% as he takes on more shots. I don't think Troy has very good form on his shot and I think a lot of his high % last year was due to him being very selective. My guess is he hovers in the mid-30%'s this year. Cobb on the other hand can hit above 40% while shooting 4-5 per game.

I think that's a solid analysis..
Although I don't think Caupain has bad form. I would probably be most comfortable with him taking a 3 with the game on the line.

I also don't think Cobbs attempts will go down from last year. I think he put up around 6 per game. With the new pace it could be more like 7.
