I think there are 37 at-large bids now (there were 34 and they added 3 to go from 65-68) and with some teams that would be in anyway that win their conference for an auto-bid, it's usually the top 50 teams or so that make it in based on an at-large berth, so to get an at-large bid you need to be a top 50 team. I think UC is clearly a top 50 team even though their RPI is right there.

Even the NIT? Weren't you the one who said nothing is worse than being relegated to the NIT?
If they don't deserve to get in the big dance, do you want the season to end, or do you want them to take a crack at beating the rest of the the pack via the NIT?

I thought it was pretty obvious that I was referring to where they land in the NCAA tournament.

I disagree. While over the course of the year their resume is good enough to get in I don't think they are currently a top 50 team. Good thing they played well at the beginning of the season.
 
Least we aren't eggsavier. They just got beat by 1 on a buzzer beater by the talented St. Joes. That makes earlier a little easier and certainly will make selection Sunday that much sweeter :)

Didn't see that. Makes me very happy. Like I said, at this point I'll take the fact that UC is in the tourny.

I'm right there with you on that. I've come to realize we are what we are this year and if we make a little run in the tourney, bad as$. If not, well it won't be a shocker to anyone after everything we have had to witness in 2013.
 
well it seems we are definitely going to get one of the games in dayton, wethier its the 8/9 game or the 7/10 game. The only thing is if we got the 8/9 game we would get indiana for sure in the second round, they are already a lock at the midwest, There is no way they don't get a 1 seed in my mind. Indiana is probably the best team in the field imo and we would lose for certain. In the 7/10 game we would have to play Ohio State in the second round, and with how hot they are right now I don't see us beating them as well. The only hope we have is that the game is in Dayton and we would get a shit ton of cincy fans there and maybe the guys would play out of their minds. I don't even know if we are going to make it out of the first game......... But the sweet 16 seems unlikely this year.

Wisconsin is a better team than Indiana, have beat Indiana last 12 games they have played.

louisville is the best team in field now.
 
I think the championship will be indiana and lousiville and indiana will probably win it all.
