March 8: 10 seed in the Los Angeles region playing Colorado St then Florida in Lexington.

Dropping to 10 was more about St. Mary's winning than us losing considering we haven't played.

depending on the 2nd round draw, I might rather be a 10 than a 9 or 8.

You think? Everyone would rather be a 10 over a 9/8.

your an idiot. if you look at lunardi's latest bracketology, a 1 seed is Gonzaga. 2 notable 2's are Georgetown and Louisville. of those 3 teams which would you want to play? Gonzaga. so no, everyone would not rather be a 10.

March 11th: 10 seed in the North Texas region playing Colorado St. followed by Kansas in Kansas City

seeing that gonzaga would be favored over Georgetown on a neutral floor if they played today, I think you may want to rethink that

My thoughts are play as well as you can. I don't care about the matchups and what not. The higher the seed the better. If we have to play a one seed in the 2nd round, so be it. Not much of difference between the #3 and #5 teams in the country.

Lunardi has us at an 11 without the G-town game factored in. I thought we were a 10, but maybe we stay at 11. Hopefully we're not bumped to one of those dumb play-in (first round) games.

I can't see us falling that far. I'm expecting a 10 but I also respect Linardis opinion so 11 makes sense too.

I really don't care where they land as long as they get in. Frankly this team doesn't deserve to be in so I'll be happy wherever they land.

According to Lunardi's Bracket Math updated today at 1:00PM. The last 4 teams in playing in the play-in (first round games) are Virginia, Kentucky, LaSalle, and Tennessee. They would be matched up with the lowest 4 autobid teams currently Long Island, Savannah State, Southern U, and Liberty.

Yep. Winning a game is just gravy at this point, this is not an NCAA tournament team right now. I see a 10-11 seed and a first round loss.

they don't deserve to be in? Who should replace them in the field of 64? Lets keep things in perspective please. They are a top 64 team which means they should qualify for the field of 64 .

Uc is definately a top 64 team but thats not how it works in the tournament. i think the top 34 teams get automatic bids and the rest are conference champions. Uc has a very good resume compared to other schools that are automatic bids ala UK. but they dont pass the eye test and are just terrible on offense. Any other team would have came back and tied the game and took off. they were happy to just tie it. Howevery if Sk had a good game it might have been closer than the blowout.

Even the NIT? Weren't you the one who said nothing is worse than being relegated to the NIT?
If they don't deserve to get in the big dance, do you want the season to end, or do you want them to take a crack at beating the rest of the the pack via the NIT?

The last four in play each other for two spots and the weakest four play each other for two spots.
