How crappy was Cronin on the recruiting trail when he produced back to back AAC players of the years? Or Sean kilpatrick? Or Jacob Evans who got drafted ? Or trot caupain on a two way deal.
If Brannen has a better 5 year span than that then I’ll be impressed. But let’s not down play Cronin’s recruiting when the results are easy to look up.
Who is better in 5 years ? UCLA or UC ? Who lands a 5 star first ? Mick or Brannen.
I mean. All this blame going to Cronin just really sets the expectations to what I believe to be unachieable
Answer: pretty crappy. Great, he has had conference POY's, but it take more than one player a year to be really good. Again, he had one freaking recruit coming in for 2019 and that was a fringe 150 player who was only coming here because of a coaching change at XU. His previous classes have sucked.
As for who is better in 5 years? That's tough, UCLA has all the resources in the world, Mick won't be able to make the excuses like he did here (and I mean like all the time). If Mick changes his philosophy he'll be successful there, but if not he'll be looking for a job in a few years. He wouldn't change here. Not sure about Brannen, but I'm excited to see.
ps - shouldn't you be in Destin now soaking up some well needed vitamin D? Enjoy life. It's short.
