I missed the post game comments from coach on 700. Did anyone listen and would like to recap?

Nevermind. I just saw on Dan Hoard's twitter it wasnt on because of the Reds.

He isn't a point guard, and Caupain hasn't played well enough to take charge of the team.

It's hard to play well playing only 3 minute stretches. He only played 13 minutes today. He played well vs Louisville, and extremely well vs UCF. Caupain had a rough stretch for a couple weeks, but played well recently.

I would expect Caupain to turn it over more than Guyn, Caupain actually penetrates and attempts to do things with the ball. Guyn does hand off passes 30 feet from the rim. He shouldn't turn the ball over.

Caupain turns it over when he tries to rush himself and messes up with his feet. I'd expect him to grow out of that, but it isn't going to happen playing 3 minutes at a time.

Jay Bilas was talking about that altercation.

Since when are officials allowed to step into a coach's face in a confrontational manner, as if to fight?! Officials must have poise, too.

"We have no humility right now. We're arrogant and got taught a lesson. "

What do you guys think about leaving Jackson in when he has two fouls? I believe he is yet to foul out, so he clearly plays smarter after the second one. Maybe Mick should just leave him in and roll the dice so we can get more minutes out of him. He played awful today, but we will need him desperately this month.

That pretty much sums it up. It did seem like they had a sense of unecessary cockiness going on. Very disappointing but all we can do is focus on Memphis right now. It is hard for a team like UC to beat good teams twice just because we are so limited offensively. We may out scrap them the first time but the 2nd go around is all about execution. We have failed miserably to step up to the challenge.

I don't know about that. What is up with Jackson though? He only took 3 FG attempts. WTH We aren't going to win any game with those numbers. What happened to him posting up and making post moves? He didn't make any against UL last week either he was just setting screens and staying above the free throw line.

They double and triple teamed him on every post touch.

He fouled out today and has fouled out a few other games as well. And no way you let him play with two fouls in the first half. Games are not won in the first half. The problem with playing him with two fouls in the first half is there's a good chance he picks up his third and even fourth. We need him for the second half of games. I'm not opposed to benching him some in the first half to try and avoid him picking up that second foul so quick. Mick had Lawrence in there early for him today before he even picked up his first foul.

I disagree. He had opportunities to make a quick move and get fouled. He didn't even attempt to make a move.

Rewatch the game on ESPN3 and tell me when, I didn't see a single occasion that he could have made a quick move. UConn must of watched how Xavier beat us because they played the same defense. Everyone had their heels in the pain just daring UC to make jumpers.

I watched the game. He could have made some quick moves and get fouled. Its not rocket science. Just because they have guys in the paint doesnt mean you cant use your body and draw a foul. He didn't even attempt to. You're not always right NTS but I am sure you will try to justify your ill logic.

The only thing I saw that Jackson could have done is maybe pass out of the double/triple team immediately, he turned into a couple times and stood no chance.

He's likely not going to be able to out quick 3 people though.

Yeah you're right. We shouldn't even try to make a [post move and get fouled. We will continue to play above the ft line. That will work really well for us.

Cincinnati never showed up today. There was zero aggression and it was obvious from SK's 4 straight turnovers that absolutely nobody came ready to play. Countless times a UC player had a chance to blow by a defender and get to the rim and stopped in the paint without attacking. They thought they were going to show up and win and got beat on 50/50 balls and killed off of turnovers. It's no shame to lose on the road at UConn. It's a shame they failed to show up when so much was on the line and they had an opportunity to take back over 1st place in the league.

I think they will sweep Memphis but to be honest the Rutgers game on the road scares me. This team better regroup mentally and remember what got them to where they are. To echo Mick Cronins comment about humility, Tony Bennett of Virginia was just asked what made his team special and he said, "They're humble."

Wondering where we will be ranked this week. I would say were gonna have a very surprising drop for losing on the road at a good team A) because of how ugly we play B) because its two in a row and C) because we aren't Duke or UK

Im guessing 16-18

Lots of ranked teams lost so it will be interesting. I think 14-16.

It's called other team's making adjustments just like I said they would.. we are a terrible offensive team.. get ready to lose to memphis too. It's hard to watch them on offense and rubbles with a ball in his hand you got to be kidding... we will end up in the 5 12 match up and hopefully not be 1 and done disgusted Bearcat fan here
