I wonder if this is about as good as UC can play. They've not been able to play 40 minutes since I can remember. Unless Mick can improve the current crop, or hope the 3 new guys can add something to the mix (as frosh or equivalent?), this trend will continue.

Fun game to watch. Great effort from both teams. West Virginia had too many "and 1's"

In my opinion the better team won but I would love to meet them again in Madison Square Garden.

I hope Yancy reads this board. Develop a post move. You have none. Im being 100 percent serious. Yancy does his damage on put back plays and when he gets the ball i2ft away and can just muscle his way up.

There is no Drop step, no up and under, no baby hook.


As far as the game, Uc played well. Though mick did a great job, thought the team played near as well as they can. Lance needs to be in the gym at 2am more often to hit a consistent jumper.

Best basketball game they've played since Maui. Tough road loss. Stephenson, the last couple of games, is almost watchable. Yancy absolutely ran out of gas down the stretch. He shouldn't have been gassed, because he sat for so long with four fouls. Free throw shooting was not horrendous. God, this has been a long season.............Only 19 more days til spring football starts, I can not wait.

UC can and will play better. I believe next year with the addition of Kilpatrick UC will be the cream that rises to the top. Mick is laying the foundation for success.

I actually enjoyed the game today. Hated to lose but thought the Bearcats played well. People have to accept that this team does not have a good basketball iq and that in close games it's going to hurt them. Thought they played with confidence and effort.

Very well said. I thought it was a very winnable game but we're just not there yet.

I do believe that Mick is capable of getting us there and will do so. I think he has this program on the right track and am very optimistic about the future.
