Well that's kind of my point, OSU will always have a loaded roster, no sense trying to compete with them for 5 star recruits because we aren't going to win. Doesn't mean we can't still get a roster full of very good players.

Wasn't really the point we were talking about, UC will never have a recruit that OSU wished they targeted, never ever ever, if they have guys that don't pan out, reload the next year.

In fact I don't see any recruits that would be in competition between UC and OSU, there was one, Adolphus, where did he go? If UC is lucky they will be battling IU/UK/Purdue for recruits, rather than the MAC schools they have been

Home Town hero? He is a born bred OSU Buckeye, played there 4 years and coached there for 14 years

As you have always said Waite...it comes down to playing time. Unless it's a different argument...then maybe it comes down to conference?

I'm getting lost. Which is it? Playing time or conference?

Seems like a pretty generalized statement but okay.......I wasn't really even sure what your point was but I get it now.

Doesn't matter to me either way, let's just get the best recruits we can get. Like I said already, we aren't competing against OSU for players.

This is just silly. Of course OSU could look back and say...you know what...we could have used that guy.

I meant me being the home town hero as a player would be very attractive to me

What did you think Keith Williams would choose Dayton over Oklahoma State and UC again? Playing time? Big 12 school in play and you went with the A-10...interesting.

Chad can't tell me that a guy wants to play in P5...but there is no playing time available...and then turn around and say playing time was a key issue when he chose a P5 school.

thats odd because you apologized for it. If you can not see that both issues are a problem I really don't know what to tell you.

I'll offer you the same deal as I did Jake let's move on from one another. I'd use the ignore feature but as a mod it doesn't allow me to. Sorry it has come to this. Have a nice holiday season.
