Hope you guys are right but they have a lot to offer.

Facility, conference, plane, money and a history of making the tourney. The conference is improving as well.

You been reading cincyontheprowl? They keep rambling about that but I haven't seen anything about it.

I've been following this board for a few years without posting much, but with the recent nosedive in quality posting I decided it's time to contribute something light-hearted. Here's a delusional Tennessee fan's assessment of Chris Mack and Mick Cronin, both of whom the poster believes are the leading candidates for that tire fire of a job in Knoxville:

"Neither are that good, imo. Mack hasn't done jack since Sean Miller' players have left and Cronin has ridden Kilpatrick's jock strap for 3 years after missing the tournament at Cincy his first 5 years."

I'm beginning to understand why Memphis fans hate Vol's fans so much.

you may want to follow more closely. Cronin inherited a program that was a dumpster fire. Many advised him to decline. He took it because he is from here and is a alum. He had no players and a fan base that was abandoning ship. He has improved every year he has been here. The last 4 he has made the dance and has a sweet 16 appearance. He has done all this with a budget that would seem insulting to many coaches.

Mick is not leaving for Tennessee. If the University doesn't step up and do something about the arena, he might down the road but I don't see Tennessee happening.

hope your right Jason but they could put together a very attractive offer. SEC isn't a bad conference. Some good coaches. Calipari,Donavon and Pearl.

Presumably in response to the rumors that Mick was in Knoxville today...:

Keeneland Dan ‏@fatbaldguyracin: Can a jet fly from NY to Tenn and to Cincy in 15 minutes? Just wondering. lol...smh oh the internet

Just saw that post. Even better: it appears that that came from a UConn fan on a SEC message board, not a Tennessee fan. Also, an Ohio State fan backed his opinion a few posts after.
