Here's a time magazine article about who wins March Madness in the classroom.

The University of Cincinnati sadly has a men's basketball graduation success rate that ranks 60th of the 64 listed schools that played in March Madness with a GSR of 43%. Only New Mexico St., Oklahoma St., Wisconsin, and Indiana finished lower than us. As the article shows, they did an academic bracketed field of 64, and just like on the basketball floor, we were knocked out in the first round of this bracket as well. Some interesting facts.....even Kentucky more than doubled our academic success rate. Louisville almost doubled up on us. Even Huggs, now that they are giving him credit for his actual graduates. more than doubled up on Mick with an 89% graduation rate. Only 16 schools were able to surpass Huggs. It's pretty embarrassing that schools like Kentucky, Louisville, West Virginia, and many others are now destroying us in the classroom. It's amazing how hush-hush this has been in the media and on this website.
How accurate is this? Xavier always claims they've graduated every basketball player since the '80s. That link disagrees.
who cares? play basketball.
So not only do we get out-recruited, we get out-graduated too? #DumpMickHere's a time magazine article about who wins March Madness in the classroom.

We need to define what goes into these rates to truly discuss. Jucos and transfers brought in counted against you before and that hurt Huggins numbers. But what's causing micks numbers? I'm guessing guys transferring out are the ones going against us. And where do they get these prime number percentages all over the spectrum? In any given year you have 0, 1, 2, 3, tops I remember under Cronin is 4 seniors. So shouldn't percentages be 0, 25, 33, 50, 67, 75 or 100 percent. And the same for any other school? X's numbers are 89, 91, 92, 93 percent???? How many seniors are on their team to get these percentages.
Bottom line, don't believe everything the media or especially the NCAA feeds you. Of every player I've known under Cronin they either graduated or went to another school and played. Then they are someone else's responsibility to graduate. Correct me if I'm wrong here someone, but who among our seniors under Cronin didn't graduate?
In my opinion Mick has a ways to go to equal or surpass Bob's record. My problem with Huggins is all this could have been avoided had he not drove around the town drunk. I'm angry because a guy in his position has to know this. About the only thing dumber is sleeping with students. For all the good he did he ripped it all away with one stupid avoidable act. Look I understand everyone makes mistakes but as a educator he has to know this is a mortal sin. We always play the what if game around here. What if Bob was sober and led us into the Big east? We get Walker and Mayo and others and off we go. Instead we get a huge gap in recruiting and he takes two local kids to K-State and we are left reading about how the law suit is going. Now he is coaching at his alma mater in a P5 conference and we are left holding the bag. Yes Mick isn't huggins in many ways. Some I am happy about and some I am not.
The reason I didn't comment on your assertion that Huggins rate is better then Micks is because I can't make sense of the information. I'll accept your comment about huggins rate being better then micks but didn't we get sited under huggins. Would you like me to post the video of huggins arrest for you? I think My first comment in my post was that Mick had a ways to go before equaling huggins on the court accomplishments. Are you dening that we are partially in this spot because of poor judgment by huggins? Do you think the university over reacted. I believe you have posted many times that you were on board with micks hire. I'm confused.Waite, a few days ago, it was graduation rates and drinking. Why is there no mention of graduation rates in this post? You told me how highly you value the "student" athlete process in this whole argument, and suddenly it is just drinking. I'm confused.
