It’s hilarious and I pointed it out to him how many sweet 16’s he played in. Which is exactly zero. In fact, his teams were upset 3x by 6 seeds and even worse a 10 seed.

Kenyon had his share of issues after he turned pro.

He almost came to blows with Alonzo Mourning after making fun of him for having a Kidney problem.

He was fined for a group of friends of his fighting with fans at a game. The league instructed him to leave his friends at home and fined him.

He had a reputation of not being someone who took a joke well.

He also had a big blow up with George Karl over playing time.

Had a reputation of not being a guy who was easy to get along with.

Of course the Lin issue.

Since retiring though he has changed his demeanor and has been involved with many giving organizations.

well he can sit his butt hurt ass over in cali for all I care. We get kids that I am proud to call bearcats, kids that I'm proud to have my son and daughter look up to. That alone means more to me than a sweet 16, not that Kmart ever had one of those.

Whether fans want to fire Cronin or not doesn't matter much (at this point) because it ain't happening.

I will place about 25% of the blame for this last game in the following ways. The first two are the least important to me. The refs and the way Nevada played. The 3rd and 4th things are our own players and coaches...and our coach is responsible for both of them. Our players looking like deer in headlights, taking dumb shots, and getting rattled with a 22 point lead is at least 50% on the coach to calm them down or call better plays etc.

The 4th thing is what is bolded above. Especially the Cumerland decision (stupid). There were also at least 2 times when we were just stomping on their throats and we changed something up. We were crushing to start the game and he subbed out leading to us losing momentum. Kyle was killing it. The second was when we started playing stall ball to kill our momentum again.

I am embarrassed we went 10 minutes and coach could not figure out a way to stop the bleeding. It's his job to get the players to snap out of shit like that.

Yes.why sub out when things are going great (unless it is for 1 min).

I remember when Coach K sub'd out Booby Hurley, and lost (not sure how many losses), then he said he learned his lesson. It may have been his soph yr. Every player doesn't have the stamina that Hurley does, but the point is the same. Don't get cute. Play the best players, and don't change things when momentum is there.

Of course, you are free to make any comments you wish.....but IMO it’s ignorant to lash out at one of our own. If you don’t like folks attacking Mick, or Kenyon attacking the Coach, then lead by example.

Kenyon was & still is the greatest Bearcat I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. I will always be thankful we got to experience his college career. If he hadn’t got injured, He & Huggs would’ve hung a banner. I’ll always believe that!

The problem with bad publicity on the college front is it can ruin recruiting. Professional sports they have to be on that team regardless in order to get paid so the teammates can come together and play for theirs selves and team not so much the coaches. College kids can simply just ransfer or just not commit if things are going bad.

I don't want to fire the coach. But I am curious. At a lot of programs the big boosters run the show. Does UC have a lot of real big boosters? How do they feel about our coach? Are they putting some pressure on him or the athletic director? Where is LT when you need him?

And by pressure I don't mean to be fired. But to possibly decrease the sideline antics. And have an offensive guy on the bench. Not just a bunch of Yes Men.
