rehfeldt should get fired. Our players look like mac players days of looking like over grown football players is long gone. Not a good sign for team strength and toughness when PG strongest on team

Is...is this a serious post? Rehfeldt is seconds away from promotions and better jobs elsewhere. He's honestly too good for his current role. I'll be shocked if he's still in the same position within a couple years. Nobody works harder than he does. I'm seriously dying at this post.

Of all the things we could criticize, this should be the last, Mike Rehfeldt is one of the best in the business and anyone who can't see that and is going to make a blanket statement about one particular lift is blind. I'm shocked he is still with the team and hasn't moved onward and upward. The guy has developed more players quickly by adding lean muscle while not losing flexibility and quickness than anyone in recent memory. You don't want football player bodies on basketball players, you want lean, quick twitch muscles and Mike has been fantastic. Nothing but good things to say about him.

You're not getting promoted when strongest player on team is PG. We got beat up a lot last year. It wouldn't surprise me if he got fired. Team is physically weak.

From the first time they step on campus to the first game these guys add at minimum 10 LBS of muscle. Muscle mass is most dependent on body type. Someone like shaq/ellis arent going to ever lift more than someone like troy. Ever. Guarantee Troy can lift more than KD and always will. That doesnt mean KDs strength guy should be fired

Wasn't Taron Barker the strongest player on the team he played on? With Eric Hicks, Jason Maxiell etc.

Why is this even a discussion based off one of the most off-based opinions ever posted.

one mans post is another mans treasure. lol I do personal training. Some of the comments about our strength program are really of the uninformed variety.

Not sure I agree with that at all. Half our team last year was slow and out of shape. Not sure it's his fault though.

Taron Barker...haven't heard that name in a while. Haha yes I believe he was the top bench presser on that team.

Barker if I recall benched over 325, I'll say tror max is 250

Looking back at the tweet that Gelehrter made about troy benching the most. Rehfeldt commented on it saying Washington actually benches the most, but Troy benched the most for active players last year. Kilpatrick holds the all time record for guards(dont know if thats alltime or under mick) with 22 reps at 185. I dont think they posted Troys actual numbers

Kirk was stronger than cash?

I blame it on philosophy and the players themselves. Only so much Rehfeldt can do if Jenifer doesn't eat right and take care of his body.
exactly but being able to motivate the kids is a huge part of training. Still understand your point, can't lift or eat for them.
