Kenyon Martin is on The Vertical Podcast with Woj this week. Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but figured I'd share.

Thanks jake. Just listened to it it was awsome highly recommend it. Thought I was just gonna catch a couple minutes but couldn't turn it off and listened to all 55 minutes. Just love hearing his take on things on him talking about his career. He said he thinks he can still play and might give it another go in the nba. Also said he wants in on coaching in the future and even said maybe even head coach at Cincinnati one day which I loved

Interesting twist in the coaching game: Sources say Indiana has expressed interest in hiring Nick Van Exel to join Nate McMillan's staff.

Saw this on Twitter today. I think Nick needs to come to UC. Priority.

YES!!! Van exel needs to be a priority he would be perfect handling the development and mentoring of our guards. i think it's time to mix things up on the staff van exel and kenyon would be perfect hires

Sounds good but I don't think any team can have 2 coaches who have never recruited before. One of them would be ok.

No doubt he had talent, wish he would have stayed and really bought in. An offseason with rehfeldt would have been great for him

rehfeldt should get fired. Our players look like mac players days of looking like over grown football players is long gone. Not a good sign for team strength and toughness when PG strongest on team

Stop. Rehfeldt is one of the best weight trainers around look at these kids when they come in. Check out there before and after pictures. Guys like Justin jackson, deberry, even ellis made huge jumps from year to year. He's packing weight onto some of these thin frames without them losing mobility exactly what lawrence needed. Troy may have been strongest on bench but that's just one aspect of strength. Deberry was a monster in terms of strength. We are know as as a very tough physical team which is a huge compliment to the strength coach. Strength has never costs us a game, he has 0 to do with weather a kid can shoot dribble or pass. rehfeldt is last guy that needs to be fired he is an elite strength coach we are lucky to have

I think Ellis's game can translate nicely to the pro level. Not sure he'll ever play in an NBA game, but with his length, he should be able to give himself a decent shot to work his way through the D-League. He looks the part of a modern 5. Hopefully he embraces the fact that he'll never get fed in the post or have another play run for him ever again. He can earn it by cleaning up on the glass and using his athleticism to move his feet and cover ground.

He'll be good money if he knew how set screens and occasionally hit corner 3
