If they lose Bates-Diop then they'll be an average Big 10 team at best. If he returns, then we're going to need Evans back to hang with them.

I would say Bates-Diop is gone. He is getting older and had a career year. would be shocked if he came back

IMO if anyone is going to transfer it would be Jenifer, broome will start next year if we have any chance to be any good we need his scoring for 40 minutes, deal will the 1-3 turnovers a game.

If Jenifer was going to transfer, it would've happened last season. Can't see it happening next season unless Logan Johnson just blows the comp away at point and Jenifer loses minutes right away (ala Ge'Lawn Guyn).

I don't know why Jenifer would go anywhere. He starts and plays a lot of minutes. He isn't going to play on any other decent team in america. let alone start.

Only ones that will transfer IMO would be Keith Williams or Justin Jennifer

Social media showed JJ having a baby. Maybe he will grad transfer somewhere closer to home for that reason? Not sure if he really would or if he has enough credits to do so just a thought

KW probably not too happy about his playing time and Trevor getting more minutes but we shall see.

I really believed JEIII was going pro but now I really am starting to wonder. Does he want to come back his senior year and really blow up or take his chances. I really think he could still go late round 1.

I would say the rest are going to stick around
Scott and Brooks are most likely going to start. Elie seems like hes loving it and understands it's a process. Mamoudou will be coming off a redshirt. Trevor loves being a Bearcat. Cumberland will be the Kilpatrick.

Man this is sick not mentioning Clark. I feel like I broke up with my girlfriend.

I tell you what, that was the best I've ever seen Evans at going strong to the rim. He got fouled s lot going down the stretch but he was playing strong. I just don't think he comes back even as a second rounder.

Yeah if I had to bet id say hes gone.

I think Evans leaving is a 50/50 chance I just hope if he does go pro he decides soon so we can try to replace him

NBA

He shot terribly over the last couple weeks and he may have been hurt a bit but 2nd round picks have no guaranteed money. Unless he can be assured being drafted in round 1, I think he is back.

This reminds me a lot of Sean Kilpatrick after his junior year we all thought he was going pro and he stayed

before he started struggling, i would have said he was gone for sure but now I think it is like you said, 50/50. If he could come back and play like he did that 1st half, and get his shot back, he could really improve his stock i think. A lot will depend on what he hears for the workouts.

I'm gonna be pissed if we don't get a shooter. Moore hasn't proven a thing. And even if he does better next year, we will still need more shooters. This is a must imo.

The only time we won this year when allowing 75 was when we played Savannah State in the first game.

Xavier, Wichita, and Nevada all beat us.

The answer to this can't possibly be "well we can't give up 75". Bc that's not realistic. So what happens when a good team hits 75? We are just sunk? We can't dance that dance? So how do we fix that? I mean, we are pretty good at trying ways to not fix it. Or acting like nothing needs fixing. But this is glaring. Some teams have dudes who can make shots. It's crazy. But it's true. So how do we beat those teams? Rebounding, defense, toughness? Doesn't work against everyone. Ok so then what?

I think Moore improves on his freshman %. However, Cumberland has had 2 years and was a high volume 3FG shooter this year and he's a career 34.5% 3FG shooter. Not good. And if Evans returns, he regressed to 37% this year. So UC really doesn't have a pure shooter who is capable of 7-9 3's on any given night. And if Williams, Scott and Brooks see significant minutes next year....well ...it could be ugly from deep. Which is a lond winded way of saying I agree---need a shooter!

Agreed, love the dude but I just don't see it.

watch the 1st half of the Nevada game and you will see it. Most the these teams draft guys on what they will become not what they are now. He is a junior but he his game is still developing.

i just want some guys that make an open 3 the majority of the time. a couple guys that if you see them take an open shot, you think its going in. Evans is that sometimes but thats about the only one we have had since SK
