If Evans stays we will have the best wing combination in the country if he goes we have some serious problems

Cumberland is a killer, we have him for the next 2 years regardless of what Evans does, Cumberland is a stone cold killer

If Evans stays, I think we will still be ranked and probably in contention for the league. I don't think we will be great or anything but evans and cumberland will be by far the best players in the league. I know people are down on evans, but I still think he is a good player. I just wish he would play like he did that 1st half against Nevada. He looked like one of the best players in the country, then the 2nd half happened.

a lot of player need to improve for us to be really good. doubt that will happen

trevor-needs to be able to shoot lights out. thats what he is here for.

keith-if he stays, need to be able to shoot at least decent and make free throws

Cane-needs to be more consistent overall.

mick-needs to change some things also.

those are the big one. no clue about our bigs.

Have you heard anything about Keith Williams transferring?

no, not at all. Wouldn't surprise me. Barely played and if Jacob came back, how many minutes will he get next year. just my thoughts

If we go small ball he can get a ton of minutes. I don't see much reason to play with 2 bigs if neither of them can score. That would be a lane clogging nightmare for the guards...since none of the bigs can shoot outside (other than perhaps Diarra).

I wouldn't be shocked to see us go 4 small/1 big next season. Of course, that all depends on who leaves, and who comes in.

Here's the starting lineup OSU faces at the opening tip in 8 months:
PG-Jennifer
SG-Cumberland
SG/SF-Evans*
PF-Scott
C-Brooks
* if he stays

That looks like a double digit loss lineup to me.

i don't know anything about OSU team next year but not many teams in the country will have players as good as Cumberland and Evans.

My ideal starting line-up
G- Jenifer (25 mpg)
G- Broome (30 mpg)
G/F- Cumberland (32 mpg)
G/F- Evans (33 mpg)
F- Scott (20 mpg)

Bench in order of contributions
Moore (15 mpg)
Williams (15 mpg)
Brooks (10 mpg)
Nsoseme (8 mpg)
Diarra/LJ/Quill (12 mpg)

I think diarra is our wild card no one knows how much he has improved through out the season, he has great touch from the outside has crazy ups, if we can get him to be the athletic freak everyone thought he was going to be that would be huge

If they lose Bates-Diop then they'll be an average Big 10 team at best. If he returns, then we're going to need Evans back to hang with them.
