Why doesn't Mick get it through to him that his role as a freshman is to facilitate the offense and not to be the offense?

Mick was irate after Jenifer took that 3. He was screaming right in Larry Davis' face. I think Mick has told him his role, Jenifer appears to be ignoring the coaching. That won't do much for his pt.

My point exactly, thanks. Dunking like that got him recruited to best programs in world. Kid best all around player on team. If he dunk like that in game against butler,x or tonight he would be projected lottery pick.

lol, I bet Mick signs him if he never dunked a ball in his life.

Troy??? Yeah right stop making shit up. It's reasons our bigs have to work harder than other teams bigs and always turn ball over. Evans, Moore and jenifer best passers by LONG mile on team

He's the only guy doing the pick and roll drop off pass over the defender and he does that to almost perfection. Evans is the only guy making traditional wing entry passes better than troy

I don't even know what to say

He's an freshman why be irate? Cobb is like 22-23yrs old supposed 3pt specialist shooting bricks and air balls against top 10 team in country. KJ shot like 5 contested shots early in shot clock totally out of the offense, didn't he finish game? Caupain played best game of year in my eyes but still got outplayed and out game managed by Morris. Mick needs to be mad at himself for lack of development and players knowing roles

Bro every team leaves our roll man open because NEVER rolls. We set picks not pick and rolls

Evans is becoming a star. He might be a 1st round pick in 2 years. The game comes so easy for him.

Disagree Jacob. Evans is not quick enough to ever be a 1st round pick. He's got nice skills, but he doesn't have great foot speed or athleticism, which I feel will hold him back. He looks so good to us because he compares so favorably to 99% of who Cronin has recruited.

I think tonight was a big step for Evans. He played extremely well and that will keep his confidence going up. At some point I hope troy helps him boost his confidence to be the go to guy. Of course we need troy to be one of those guys too.

Getting the ball inside has been a issue all year. When we were running and gunning against weaker competition it didn't stand out as well. I happened to be down at the arena for a early season pasty game and I was able to chat with Terry Nelson. I made the comment that the guards were not very effective getting the ball passed down to the block. He said it wasn't all their fault because our Biggs were not holding the position strong enough. I think that is why he inserted DeBerry early in game for Clark tonight. When that happened we got going a bit.

Debbie downer strikes again

Guys, I read bearcattalk over 300 days per year. Enjoy you all. Rarely post. Must post tonight. I have not read any of the game thread but know others are thinking the same thing (especially bulldog lol): when we were up and in the double bonus, why go away from Evans???????? Drive the ball and get fouled and go to the line (he was 4-4 down the stretch. 93% for the year!!). And Why why why settle for a jumper for the final shot? Give it to Evans or Troy and drive it to the hole and get fouled! Not happy with Cronin there :(

Damn lie. Go ask the sharp shooting white boys with zero athleticism out there Mick still till day hasn't signed. Remember Mick early teams were supposed to resemble Syracuse? Mick for years just recruited best athletes that was under radar. you not getting d1 offer from top 80 team unless if you don't dunk when opportunity presents itself in high school

Mick wanted Troy in the middle to drive but he let himself get pinned on the sideline. Then Troy admitted postgame he thought there was less time on the clock and forced up the shot.

So hard to read...autocorrect must overheat on a daily basis

Your delusional. He needs help troy with stepping up in key moments taking over game. Troy should've called play for Evans to spread it out and attack. 12sec was more enough time

Yeah to me it looked like Troy got surprised by the defense on him and then just went into a scramble.

KJ was 3-4 tonight according to ESPN box score. They must have missed those 5 air balls.

I already know where Mick and troy stand. It doesn't take rocket scientist to tell us where last shot was supposed come from.
