Mick put Clark or Shaq at top of zone. Against the big boys your 6'2 guards aren't getting deflections or disrupting passes to corner. Both to clumsy to get out in corner before shot so teams go keep putting best 3pt shooters out there

Evans should start at 2 not the 3. KJ north Cobb offer us anything on the athleticism side, basically spot up shooters getting do it all player minutes.

Only Cobb and Shaq looks to attack off dribble. Pointless because both are below average passers and ball handlers

But Shaqs energy kept us in it?! First time I've heard energy being a more important factor in the game than below average passing and ball handling.

He's the only guy who can reliably make that pass on time or effectively or without getting a turnover. Of course Troy can do it on the wing too. Cobb, Kj,And Shaq are horrible at it
Troy??? Yeah right stop making shit up. It's reasons our bigs have to work harder than other teams bigs and always turn ball over. Evans, Moore and jenifer best passers by LONG mile on team

His job really isn't about keeping everyone happy. It's about winning. I get it, you coached kids for years. I understand how playing time works, I played a D1 team sport (not bball) at UC. Guess what, we had plenty of players who weren't good enough to play, and they didn't. Mick's job is to have the best lineup on the floor. We saw last year how he was too stubborn to change it and it hurt them. We'll see how he does this year. As I've always said about Mick, if there is one thing certain, the starting lineup will always be back out there for the beginning of the second half, regardless of how the game has been played.
I see your point. Things are always fluid in sports was my whole point. Making general statements about how the game should be managed is really not a good thing. It does create discussion as this subject did but in the end it's not practicle. We have very little understanding of what is driving his decision and less of the info he has access to make such decisions.

When I think about all the parents who asked me why my son isn't pitching or why isn't he leading off it makes my head hurt. LMAO!!

Evans is becoming a star. He might be a 1st round pick in 2 years. The game comes so easy for him.

2nd rd. Needs to play above rim. Even guys like Jodie Meeks and jamal Crawford dunking on fast breaks. He dunk on his man 1 time and his stock would soar. Only thing you haven't seen from him this year is MONSTER dunk. Can't play on wing in nba without playing above rim at least in college. You can't have break away fast break and lay it up trying go pro.

He needs to start. He's the best option on the wing and can really play the 2 or 3.

That's what I love about him. He allows us to play either Shaq or one of the 2 guards depending on the situation. He basically eliminates the need to have one of them playing significant minutes if they are sucking.

Obviously he is a must have on the court at end of games

Look at Cobb's FT attempts on year - 14, in 275 minutes. He does not attack rim
Dude Cobb shoots that pull up off dribble from SIDE at least 4-5x game. I said attack not get to rim. Troy is Best by mile getting to rim on team but it's never in attack mode nor does he EVER attack.
