Ellis needs to shut his trap. One thing I did appreciate about him last night was that he went right at Purdue's bigs after they scored on him, but then he threw his bow.

He needs to stop running his mouth and just play...

Ellis is that guy that everyone knows that just won't walk away. Always has to have the last word or the last shove.

Cincinnati's Octavious Ellis on UK being 35-0: "Those 35 teams weren't the Cincinnati Bearcats."

LETS GO!!!!

A quote for the ages and everyone is poo-pooing him? Would you like me to pass the Rogaine or are you all too busy eating pizza with a knife and fork?

Oh, I absolutely love the quote! I was referring to his on the court problems

Fair enough. He set the stage for an action movie with that one-liner so he better back it up with my space jam dunk I've been waiting for.

What do we want Ellis to say?! "They are great and about to be 36-0." Good for him to step up and give a real answer. Now he just needs to prove it on the court. I believe the esteem rapper, DMX said it best, "Talk is cheap mother fu*kas!!!" Lets play hard and give it all we got.

Caupain and Clark were on the podium this afternoon taking questions, only 2 questions were asked, both wanted Troy and Gary to say how amazing UK is. What a joke in terms of reporting. Troy and Gary handled it with class but the questions, and lack of questions was clear disrespect.

"On a scale from 9 to 10, 9 be very likely 10 being extremely likely, how bad is UK going to crush you tomorrow night" or what?

interesting stat, everyone wants to rip uc's offense but in conference play uc has actually shot the ball more efficiently and better than uk. Heres the stats:
--Uc: From 3s: 36.5%.......From inside the arc: 51.4%
--UK: From 3's: 35.7%......From inside the arc: 50.7%
*our problem is turnovers, if we take care of the ball we have a chance
**rebounding will be crucial, we have to find a body and box out and our guards have to help out. Shaq and kevin need to use their jumping ability to high point the ball

Rebounding will be the key to have a chance

Rebounding and handling UK's size is the biggest factor to this game. UC will need to make shots (obviously). We cannot afford to give up 20 offensive rebounds or whatever it was against Purdue. Kentucky is too good and we will get crushed in this game if that happens.

I'm also hoping we stay aggressive and attack the basket.

Has it been confirmed Ellis will be playing?
