They've done all they can for my brother and he is on watch waiting to pass. He loved the Bearcats and lived in the heart of UK country in eastern Kentucky. I will never forget his red F150 Ford Truck covered in UC stickers and sitting beside him driving thru the mountains and the looks we got. Nothing would please me more than a UC victory over UK tomorrow for him. RIP big brother.

Wow, so sad. My thoughts are with you and him man. That's enough reason to win for him tmrw!

Damn. So sorry man. Thoughts are with you and your family.

Waking up this AM my first thought was how big a win or even a well played gutty performance by our Cats could be for the overall program. We all talk about our brand and what it means to be a Cat. This team has the chance to show a huge National audience just that. To get us to that next level it's this kind of game or opportunity that is needed. Well here it is. Everyone in country will be watching. Recruits can see first hand. Our conference doesn't afford us these kind of opportunities. Big opportunity on biggest stage. These kind of games are program builders. Go get me Cats.

Damn that's awful. Really sorry for your loss. We'll all be thinking of you and your family.

If UC could somehow pull this out, this would be an era defining win and propel UC back into greatness. I mean I suppose this could help mick land some bigger recruits if they beat UK but the prime reason why I think it will propel them back into greatness is because it will bring all the fans back that aren't convinced that uc basketball was back. Just after that crazy win against Purdue, I saw more people wearing uc sweatshirts today than I have all year. Imagine if they beat Kentucky, wow! This city would burn down! UC basketball would officially be back. I mean uc has never been the same program as Duke or UK or UNC but there was a time when there was as much energy surrounding the UC program as there was at those places. Think about this, 10 years ago, UC and U of L were probably the most even programs out there. Now look where they are. There's no question Louisville is the better basketball program recently, and they've propelled to be one of the best in the country. That can happen again with uc. Nationally, UC is easily glanced over now a days. It's time for that to change.

I watched the UC vs Syracuse, semi final game in the BE tourney last night. Syracuse was 31-1 going in and no one was giving us a shot. Watching that I thought we will have to play a very similar game. Zone defense, make them shoot jump shots and limit their layups opportunities.

Obviously on our offensive end, we will need to have our best shooting night just like we did against the cuse. Anything can happen guys.

According to ESPN, UC is the least picked team to advance to the sweet 16 with 1.6 %. Lol literally, against all odds!!

Anyone meeting up anywhere to watch this? I think we should, somewhere with lots of seating, as this is our superbowl.

Only way we keep this respectable is to keep UK off the offensive glass and keep them out of transition. Then we have to hope they have a horrendous shooting night (aka Purdue) and that we shoot reasonably well. If that happens we could keep it close until near the end of the game and then anything can happen. But that's a ton of IF's. I just hope whatever happens we stay strong as a team, keep our heads up, fight till the end, and see the guys keep picking each other up no matter what happens. Play with pride and I will be happy with them.

Stay close to end and we land couple nice pieces this spring. Kinda hurts not having Mick on sideline though.
