That's crazy. I mean defenders have to run at him. How about a pump fake to draw a foul.something!!

That is absolutely crazy. He's just not comfortable going to the rim. If he has a defender in front or trailing on a break, he pulls up or passes. Drives me crazy he won't go up strong and draw w foul. But that's enough! Lol, good win, keep it rolling forward now

Dan Hoard rattling off a ton of former Bearcats in the house tonight. Glad they got to see this kind of effort.

Really like that little short fall away in the lane from Clark tonight. Gives the defender another look as opposed to backing him down and shooting over his left shoulder.

Ellis' play down the stretch with 4 fouls really helped winning. Deberry was -9 and Ellis was +13 during the game

Quadri and Deberry really struggle when the game is moving that fast. Ellis was outstanding with 4, only time he really back down was on the baseline dunk.

Kenyon Martin stopped in the UC locker room at halftime. Gave a few words of encouragement before team went back on floor.

Both them guys are better in half court sets. Ellis actually runs the floor well at times. Our guards miss him beating his man down the floor at times. I saw it at least twice tonight.

You have to give Troy credit tonight with how he handled the ball. Memphis was hand/body checking him ALL game. He kept his composure and was strong! The refs finally starting calling them fouls down the stretch which was huge for us. Very impressive.

Very impressive game.

Crazy that was Memphis' third away game of the year, 0-3 away from home/neutral, in comparison UC has played 6 away games to date

I wish Shaq would shoot 75% of his shots as pull up mid range jumpers. He's too tall and jumps too high to be guarded...and he seems to make at least one of two. It beats the turnovers he gets from trying to dribble into traffic.

Caupain and Ellis were huge as well. Deberry and Moore were awful on D compared to Ellis. KJ played well. Clark solid as usual. ..like the new fade away in the lane.

Our defensive lineup to close the game out was Caupain, Johnson, Evans, Thomas and Ellis. Probably our best defensive lineup against these small quick teams.
