Memphis has played a weak schedule so it's hard to tell a lot, but they are long and athletic. They can run the floor and get back in transition on D. They rebound pretty well.

They have some skilled offensive players, but they are doomed by wasted possessions and terrible shot selection when I've watched them.

On defense, the stats look great, but the 5 best team they've played they gave up 84, 86, 81, 76, 85. They basically just shut down horrible teams completely on D. We will score on them.

You talking about us or them?

Cronin said we'd see the starting lineup switching around the rest of the season. That hasn't happened. It should happen though. If we're going to be stuck at turtle speed, Shaq Thomas can't play, let alone start. That's just the way it is. I love Shaq. But he should only play with Jenifer imo. He needs an open court and someone who can give him the ball in a spot where the minimum amount of struggle is required. He is in no position to succeed the ways things are now. It hurts everyone.

Shaq should ONLY play in press. Deberry should ONLY play right before tv timeout.

We should be pressing the whole game. Even the announcers in the Temple game were shocked that we weren't trapping or using the run and jump at all.

This is year 5 for shaq and he still hasnt figured it out. Everytime the ball is in his hands my heart beats faster (and in a bad way). From what ive seen this year out of shaq(just like other years) He will either do 2 things. Dribble around the top of the key and brick a long 2. Or he will start to drive(out of control everytime by the way) do his little spin move and miss a layup. Sometimes on his missed layup he will get his own rebound and then miss again, BUT then he may get another rebound and finally score(if he doesnt step out of bounds first)

Lol Shaq was pathetic in last game. I cried of laughter watching him play his heart out but talent isn't there. Dude BRICKED an layup then came right back jumped over his own teammates shoulder for easy rebound to patty cake it out of bounds. He plays like he NEVER heard of basketball until Mick gave him full ride

I think Memphis is going to smoke us on the boards and dominate the 2nd chance points. Need Ellis, Clark and Deberry to rebound and limit them to 1 and done possessions.

I am def worried about Goodwin. He is a beast to deal with down low. Can't think of one guy for UC who can match his intensity and aggressivness. One thing I've always liked about Memphis is they have players who know and like to attack the basket. They play fearlessly.

Goodwin softer than Charmin. Fake tough guy. Ellis, go take it to him at home. They have a freshman or sophomore that if he shows up could get 20/20

Mick, I heard you been on here. Go 4 guard lineup to save season and your career. Unleash Shaq at top of press. Extend your half court defense and tell players if don't keep hands up ENTIRE game they want dress next couple games.

If you want to talk about a fake tough guy look no further than ellis.

Ellis has been in brawl. Nothing fake about that. Refs by putting target on Ellis back has taken away some of his aggressiveness. Playing against hometown team I'm putting my money onEllis to win that battle

Just because he was in a brawl doesn't mean he plays tough. He plays weak. I remember he played one of the worst games in a UC jersey last year at Memphis.

He plays way to soft for someone with the tough guy street cred. Watch Goodwin own him early and Ellis react with a little bitch move foul and get T'd up. Also the brawl was a long time ago and he looked like a girl just flailing his arms around trying to make contact with anything he could.
