Mick is staying

You can bet your bottom dollar that Mick isn't going anywhere. He'll come back and tell us how much he loves UC and going somewhere else never entered his mind. Case closed!

Gosh I hope not. I hope he goes and has a HOF career.

Lol! Where you staying? If you haven't been to the red rock you should go. Very nice and lots of locals gamble there

stayed at the D hotel. heading back to Arizona but will stay one night at the aquarius in laughlin. Next time will check out the red rock, thank you for the tip. hope you enjoyed the spring training games also the nice weather!

I hope Mick stays here 30 years and continues winning the right way. Mick is bearcat basketball.

Only if he elevates the program to the next level. I would guess at least 75% of the fans out there would not be happy with ending seasons outside the top 25 and making it to the Sweet 16 (but not beyond) once every 5 years. No conference or tourney championships etc.

It cannot remain stagnant for me to stay on board

always love my trips to the desert. Have a safe trip home.

I think I just threw up.

Why because he likes our coach, and has a differing opinion on what should or could happen. I've stated 100 times I like Mick but am indifferent at this point. Id be willing to bet if I looked back those who hate Mick are ones who hated the hire from day one and still have Hughins posters hanging on their wall. There are positives and negatives to Mivk Cronin. Is he the greatest coach, of course not. Does he suck like some claim, of course not. The fact is it's not a cut and dry situation, some will be happy if he stays some will be pissed if he stays. The two groups will never agree, even if he ends up getting us over the hump. That's been proven if you've followed this board amongst others over the years.

Yeah, this is not correct. Mick is not Bearcat basketball.

Here is what I would like to see. Facility improvements (locker room and arena), private jet for recruiting and 3 years after completion. Then, and only then will we be able to say for certain whether Mick Cronin is the guy or not. What is going on now is the like the sports definition of insanity. Keep doing the same thing over and over (no funding improvements, etc) and expect different results (winning bigger). Just doesn't add up no matter who the coach is.

Only if the administration does their job and upgrades the facilities. Landed us in a P5 conference.

Here is a question. What if this group of exec's invested all this money into Nippert and we never land in a P5 conference? If all we got out of the funds used to reshape Nippert was a pretty facility? What if we go back to being a 5 win or less football school with no hope of ever joining a power conference? I understand why they did it but what if they were wrong. You going to tell them nice try? Would you tell them we could have used the funds to upgrade or build a new facility for basketball which is what most fans wanted anyway. Are you going to be satisfied with, we took a shot and it didn't work out line? It was the right move just didn't work out.

Might as well give us a watchable product then (which is what I think he is attempting to do).

Any product is a watchable product if you win. if we go undefeated and win 3-2 every game that's fine by me!

They did score 73 points a game this year. Not terrible. The offensive flow wasn't great and needs to be improved. The defense was fun to watch (minus the struggles guarding the corner three). I think they are getting there. Evans is gifted offensively. So is Troy. Gary needs to be more assertive but he has offensive skills. Cumberland by all accounts is a good offensive player. It has been said that Kyle Washington is a better offensive player than defensive player so there is hope of continuing an upward trend of offensive production.

They didn't score more than 69 points in ANY conference road game all season. Pathetic.

I'm with you. Definitely trended ^ offensively this year. No question about it. Is there a site that tracks shot clock violations? Even with the clock at 30 and walking up so much, we rarely ever had a shot clock violation this year.
