I think He will be able to get the players and recruits there that he couldn’t get here. I think he system could work in the tourney with those players.

Problem is, Curtis is probably gone with him unless he is tied to the program enough to look past the coaching change.

Perhaps. He is a solid coach. But I just don’t see this working out. And that AD will be gone soon. Not good when the guy that hires you is gone. First sign of trouble, new ad wants his/her own coach

Getting 5 star recruits will help a lot.

My only concerns are:

1) Samari - please still come and be a Bearcat
2) Cumberland - please stick around
3) LoJo - remain a Bearcat.

I would look at Van Exel also. Ex-pro. Great player. Been around the nba and d-league for a while. Could get recruits to follow. Be worth a shot

Well mick Cronin haters you got what you wanted, now we get to deal with a probable decommit from Curtis and probably have Cumberland go pro and have other people transfer, maybe we’ll make it to the tourney in 5 years

He left. No one forced him to leave. Grow up

Immediate thoughts on players:

Tre is going to be a grad transfer
Jarron will stay for his senior year
UC won't grant Curtis a release
Logan Johnson will transfer

HOPEFULLY if those two transfer, the new coach has a couple guys in mind to replace.

If UC hires the right coach, I could see Cumberland, Curtis and Johnson remaining. But, it has to be the right coach.
