He supports UC, of course we wanted this win.

Not getting the point. Fear of getting worse isn't a reason to not try getting better.

Obviously everyone on this board wants us to win the championship every year or else we wouldn't be here.

But you still have to have a clear cut way of getting better. Texas thought for sure they had one and that still didn’t work out.

We don’t have a clear cut plan for something that is better. Sure it can be frustrating never advancing and frustrating feeling like we’ve hit our ceiling. But you have to weigh the possibility that it might be the programs ceiling in this current college basketball landscape, and not necessarily mick cronins.

By that logic there is no reason to keep him. Just pay some high school coach 30k a year to coach them because they can’t compete in the current college basketball landscape.

I fully believe his coaching system is the reason we're at our ceiling because it's not conducive to how basketball is played in 2019. I think he's a good coach and could probably lead most teams to NCAA appearances but I think we've seen his ceiling for years now with the way he recruits players and coaches them.

Yes, you need a mixture of everything but having a couple shooters that can make shots helps the offense a lot. Opens the whole floor ups. Teams can’t help on defense. Making slashers even more dangerous.

We have 2/3 of the top 3pt shooters in program history. I don’t know how this is even still an argument

That’s not how that logic works. They are competing, maybe not for national titles, but how many teams realistically are?

Are you slow? We have 2 shooters and then everyone else on the team is me and you out there shooting 3s. Are your bearcat blinders really that overwhelming you can't figure it out?

Only having 2 guys over 31% is bad even if they were both really good. It’s tough to play offense like that unless you’re hyper athletic. If we had 1 more shooter it really would have made it easier on Cumberland

That’s exactly how logic works. If they don’t think they can win why even play in the tournament. Hang it up after the conference tourney. Your statements are bizarre

I just can't even with this fanbase anymore. It's like they wipe their memory banks clean after every season's abrupt end. Everyone besides the insane diehard fans know we don't have shooters that's why we're so easy to gameplan for and nobody reepects us. I'm surprised nobody's talked about Fran schooling Mick in this thread being the main factor we lost to Iowa.

We just need to get tougher and play better defense. Basketball is not about putting a ball in a hoop.

Not having shooters wasn't our problem. We need basketball players with some length to play in mick system. 4 or 5 yrs isnt enough time to teach team full of projects how to play basketball. Moore and fredricks need be shown the door and two transfers take their spots.

I remember when Mick had to choose between demar and Eugene land. Demar was a pro and land went on to become all American. No way moore or fredricks be on next year playing significant minutes if we can upgrade their roster spots.

Agree, if Moore can't make shots, he literally gives you nothing. Teams weren't even guarding him toward the end of the year. At least Fredrick's can make a layup and get a rebound sometimes.
