I like that people will blame the refs, missed shots, whatever, rather than admit cronin gets out coached in big games. He is a loser.
Honestly....look around. Everyone lost...this tourney is a ******* mess.
If we get blown out or lose a close game it's completely different then blowing a 22 point lead in the last 11 min.

How many of them lead by 22 with 10 minutes left? Plus had 4 fouls on the opponent in the first 6 minutes of the second half? Plus stopped going inside?
Next year is a rebuilding year.

No, no they did not.
We looked scared in the last 5 minutes. We completely panicked. Nevada has guys with fire in their eyes and wanted the ball. Where was that guy for us?

Running clock wasn't a bad strategy. Taking bad shots and was the issue. That should have been a free throw shooting contest for us. We had 4 fouls on them early in the half and never drove the lane. Evans got to the rim early and often and stopped in second half.
Running clock is ridiculous when we were scoring at will by not doing it. Running the clock forces guys into bad shots when the shot clock runs down cause cronin had absolutely no offensive scheme to get shots.

Evans was the biggest joke the last five games I have seen in my ******* life. Why did they let cane take the ball amongst the trees. Then ******* moore was in. Terrible call. Can't stay the ball that long. Evans is weak. Cumberland was the only bright spot. Clark and Washington I feel bad but guess what, you did it to yourself twice. Can't get position for anything. I have all ways been Cronin fan, but giving the ball to the worst play maker playing his worse basketball ever is a joke. He didn't shoot the jumpers but stalling and letting that weak **** Evans try and play one on five is embarrassing. I ******* hate being a uc fan.
Anyone who shot the ball in the last 5 minutes not named Clark or Washington or from further than 6 feet should be cut from the team. Evans included. That ball HAD to be touched by either Clark or Washington in the post EVERY possession in the last 5 minutes. Too infrequent to slow down Nevada.

Tuff loss!! We had games this year where we were tested especially WSU and Houston games. Today we coughed it up. Got up and quit doing what got us the lead. On to next year

Hard to argue he can’t win for whatever reason, just not sure what he could of done. We had layups and missed them. The same shots Jacob made the first half, he missed everyone. Kyle missed at least 2. Just not sure what he could have done. You can’t get better than lay ups

Good season punctuated with one of the most embarrassing losses in Cincinnati sports history, which will most likely be what this season is remembered for. Anyways hope the players can feel better sooner than later, because they will never forget this game. Sorry to all the UC fans that gave up on life, because of this game, just be glad you aren't one of the players right now.

So taking a 16-foot jumper with 18 seconds on the shot clock is smart when you're ahead by 22 with 10 minutes left? Slow the game down, yes you may have more 'bad shots' here and there but you should at least take a jump shot with 3-5 seconds left on the clock, not 15-18...

I've seen it all. To score eight points over the final 11 minutes when the next foul is 1 and 1 for the cats is flat out ridiculous.
It would help if the refs were not blatantly awful all game
I'm not a college coach, so it's just so hard to know what would be the best game strategy, but I do know we shot too many jumpers and too much Evans running point.I don't know what to say. Our best yer and we make it to the round of 32. Can't wait to enjoy next year, 19-13 team, nit. Cane played poorly. We ran ISO ball with Evans the last ten minutes. We made our selves cake to defend. On Cronin, and only Cronin.

We weren't forced into bad shots we settled for bad shots. They had no one that cou
D guard Evans he made getting to the hoop in first half look like he was playing against children. We stopped. We had them in foul trouble and let he off the hook by shooting jumpers.
