Newer Conference Realignment Thread

Im new, but these are the same people right?

Some think so, I do not. Either way they contribute next to nothing and continue to ruin realignment talk with their bickering. Therefore, I encourage all members to ignore their comments in all threads because the moderators refuse to ban them.

So they are going to turn down double the money they'd make in the b10.

Ralph logic 101

Boss #1: "Ralph, I want to pay you more but we don't have the money. The company is struggling. Everyone is talking about leaving though

Prospective boss #2: we want you Ralph. Your resume is impressive. Well pay you double what you make now. We've screened dozens but we want you at our prestigious Fortune 500 company"

Ralph: " No thanks. I'm happy where I am making less money at a company constantly trying to keep employees to stay"

The Big 10 has been offering Notre Dame and UNC for many, many years. Both will continue to say NO. The money is not that significant to either. Schools such as UNC, Duke, UVA, GT do not want to be in a Yankee Conference.

What is this 1860?

And if they are that turned off by those "Yankees" and their conference, then why did they vote to invite Yankees into their conference?

According to this article doesnt seem to be much urgency for more realignment in the near future. However we have heard this before......

Exactly what the Ralph has been stating. Those ACC breakup rumors are nothing but poppycock started mostly by West Virginia fans who are very unhappy with their island situation in the Big 12.

The AD at The Ohio State University, an actual, credible, as inside as it gets source, has stated BearcatMick is wrong, wrong, and more wrong on conference realignment.

Lol, ralph how's life other than posting you're unwarranted opinions on a highly speculative subject on an online message board? Seriously, few KNOW what is going to happen, and I highly doubt that one of those handful of people spend half their life enlightening Cincinnati Bearcat fans. Lol. Did you predict Maryland and Rutgers to the Big Ten? Doubt it, so please, for the sake of yourself, admit these are your OPINIONS.

Not opinions, fact.

"Facts" like when the Ralph said "no big east basketball school will ever leave the big east"

Wrong again just like your SMU and Houston to the MWC statements and every other statement that you have made in regard to conference realignment. You need to take my conference realiginment 101 course as you have been incorrect on everything.

Horrifically and shamefully incorrect

Horrifically and shamefully incorrect

On Monday you posted UNC had a Big 10 offer. On Tuesday Ohio State AD Gene Smith completely blew you out to the water when he told CBS the Big 10 was pursuing no one in regard to expansion.

It is BearcatMick who is always horrifically and shamefully incorect.

The ACC today is the same as the ACC on the day UofL joined. They are all happy as a clam at high tide to be ACC members. Coach K was raving on his weekly talk show about how great the ACC is now with the addition of Syracuse, Pitt, ND, and UofL.
