Yeah, because no one pays attention to the BE tournament and BE teams. It's not like they play constantly on ESPN, filled with schools with lots of tradition, have had teams consistently win the NCAA title every few years, or anything. But yep, no tradition. Nobody cares about Syracuse, Pitt, Georgetown, or Louisville, they all have no tradition, according to you. Guess what, since 1980-81, there have been more BE teams in the NCAA tourney than the ACC.

Every day that goes by is another day that no school has left the ACC and it will go on and on like that. UNC, Duke, UVa, GT, are entrenched in the ACC, they will not leave.

There is no smoke as this article is nothing more than mindless speculation. UNC is going nowhere. The President of UNC has pledged 100% commitment to the ACC and voted to raise the ACC exit fee to $52 million and that is fact.
Keep telling yourself that. For the record I would like my pizza from LaRosa's. thanks

Keep trying to convince yourself that the ACC is going to break up, it is not.

99% of the ACC breakup rumors come from WVU fans unhappy with being stuck on an island in the Big 12. The ACC is not going to break up because WVU fans want it to. The ACC is rich in tradition and they are a committed group.

Uhhh, remember when the entire Big East pledged commitment?

They have a $52 million exit fee which is a lot more expensive than a GOR.

You're right. And lawyers will make sure Maryland doesn't pay half of it. After that happens, they are left with an exit fee that doesn't hold up in court and no GoR

So where's the GoR Ralph?

You are a crazy old coot, Ralph. The ACC is falling apart and you know it. Should've listened to what Jason said, Ralph.

How is the ACC falling apart? In 60 years the ACC has lost 2 schools while adding 9 schools.

None of the current schools are leaving but you are welcome to try to convince yourself they are.

Unc has a B1G offer according to sporting news. See ya acc

Ohio State and Michigan have offers to leave the Big 10 and join the Big East.

UNC is not going to accept any offers to join the Big 10, the SEC, or the Big 12. UNC and all of the other ACC schools are staying in the ACC.

Notre Dame has had an offer to join the Big 10 for about the last 80 or 90 years, they are also not going to join the Big 10.

So they are going to turn down double the money they'd make in the b10.

Ralph logic 101

Boss #1: "Ralph, I want to pay you more but we don't have the money. The company is struggling. Everyone is talking about leaving though

Prospective boss #2: we want you Ralph. Your resume is impressive. Well pay you double what you make now. We've screened dozens but we want you at our prestigious Fortune 500 company"

Ralph: " No thanks. I'm happy where I am making less money at a company constantly trying to keep employees to stay"
