#5 San Diego St. @ Boise St.

#4 Wichita St. @ Indiana St.

Two teams that have a chance of losing and would move UC to the Top 5 if we win our next 2

I wouldn't mind continuing a series with Pitt. I would not like to see us play West VirGINA though. For one playing Huggs would be a distraction we don't need and two I really don't like their fanbase and program in general. Them and Marshall are notoriously bad to visiting fans. I was very happy when they left our conference.

Agreed, they're fanbase is garbage. I've had plenty of experiences with them. I'm enjoying watching them struggle in both sports so far. That said, they are one of our best bargaining chips for possibly getting into the Big 12. We would be the perfect geographical bridge to the island of the conference that is Morgantown.

I agree, I was a little surprised the SEC didn't go after them. I guess stretching out to Texas made more sense for them to get another team to the west, but West VirGINA or more so Virginia Tech seemed like they would be good fits and would've been in new markets. WV jumped the gun and should've waited for the ACC to come calling. Oh well, I'm enjoying watching them struggle as well.
 
Wichita St. is tied with Indiana St at 36 at half. Looking at WSU's schedule, this is pretty much their last chance to lose, or they'll probably go undefeated.
 
Pitt survives a 2OT scare against Virginia Tech, arguably the worst team in the ACC. This is 3 days after winning in overtime against Miami, another one of the worst teams in the league. Their best win in the ACC so far has been Maryland. I am starting to wonder if they are actually any good or if they are the beneficiaries of a soft schedule.

They did put up a hell of a fight with Syracuse. It's too bad they couldn't pull it off.
 
So Marcus Smart just got a technical foul for pushing a fan under the basket as his team is down by 3 points with 8 seconds left. This kid has COMPLETELY fallen off the rails, he destroyed a chair early this year too. Should have left last year and be the #1 pick.

He is very lucky that he wasn't thrown out of the game and suspended...

I have a feeling the fan said something that crossed the line. Not defending Smart or saying he should have reacted that way, but the guy obviously said something beyond "you suck" to get him to pop up off the floor and go at him that way. That particular fan has a history of being an ass too from what I have heard. Season ticket holder...
 
Three points.

1. Marcus Smart was wrong and should be suspended.
2. If the fan said what reports indicate the fans ticket should be taken away. At some point in life its time to grow up and act like an adult....
3. The word in question is used far to often casually, which creates a double standard. Not saying its right, simply saying it shouldnt be used at all from anyone in any context, being that it is truly offensive.

About a dozen former Big 12 players recognized the guy by his face. It is clear he has been like this for a long time. I am not surprised though, I mean it is Lubbock,Texas after all.
 
Honestly the book needs to been thrown at both the player and the fan... They need to set an example out of the two that things like this is not acceptable..
 
Not justifying that fan at all. But regardless of what he said, Marcus should have the "smarts" ;) to walk away. That could have ending way way worse than how it did. You don't square up on a fan and look like you're about to knock him out, then proceed to get physical with a fan. Of course everyone is going to play the race card and make it into a huge white/black thing which is sad.

Did anyone listen to the SMU game last night on 700 wlw? You could clearly hear some very nasty things coming for their fans but you don't see players or our Coach going after them. Marcus should have never laid hands on that guy.
