Don't open this Pandora's box. As much as I've indulged, this isn't a political forum. Moderators, please close this thread.

As long as we aren't attacking anyone's beliefs, I think we are fine. Let's move it to the Huggs Inn or something, it isn't hurting anyone besides the fact that it is supposed to be an off topic college basketball thread.

I would prefer to not know anyone's political beliefs on here. I enjoy talking about sports here and airing out everyone's political beliefs just leads to discord. We argue enough about sports as it is.

This is not true. A foul is a foul even if it is not called. It just becomes a missed call. By your logic, there would never be players in the NFL fined for hits that weren't flagged. It wasn't flagged therefore it wasn't a foul. That $25,000 check the DB has to write would disagree.
your really off the deep end on this. What column is the stat with the non called fouls in. Has craft been fined?

Yes, because the media clearly isn't lazy, just look at that fine establishment, the Cincinnati Enquirer. The media is horrible at judging talent, as they are the morons who give their baseball HOF ballots to deadspin, don't vote for players like Maddux and Glavine because they were in the steroid era, etc. Your opinion reminds me of the media opinion, which, in other words, means that I take it with a grain of salt.
so all the media who voted for Madddux and Glavine are they lazy to? How about the article Jason is having a hard time finding. Is the author lazy? Craft is a very good player. Wish he played for the cats.

The Courts and political beliefs are two entirely different subjects.

Roe v. Wade may have been decided in the courts, but abortion has been a hot political topic far longer than any of us can likely remember.

Regardless of how you classify it, it has no place on these boards. We already get pissed at each other enough discussing Bearcats basketball. The last thing we need is an abortion debate.

I wasn't debating that, I was debating how to interpret the constitution. That did come up briefly, but it wasn't the main topic of discussion. I will end the off topic discussion by saying this-Cincinnati had a 29% voter turnout last year. We live in one of the greatest countries in the world, and yet, people don't take their civic duty seriously. Regardless of what you believe, please vote. It is the least we can do as citizens of this country.

You're right, JJ5. And it's not just Cincy with those voting stats. Our populace can all get out and vote for American Idol or DWTS, but for something as important as how our country is run we get a pathetic voter turnout.
I'm done off topic.
Go Cats!. Beat USF!
That's the focus today.

Craft is the most overrated player in college basketball. If refs would actually call hand checking like they are suppose to, he'd only be on the court for 4-8 minutes a game. Sure the kid hustles and is apparently a leader but his defense is extremely overrated if having to play within the rules of the game.

UCONN win tonight coupled with us beating USF gives us a 2 game lead over every team in the conference with 12 games remaining.

If we could finish the season 10-2, we would be guaranteed at least a share of the conference title.

Cincinnati's schedule is quite backloaded. I am a little concerned about the team wearing down at the end of the season. I see UC finishing 9-4 to end up 14-4 in the league. Not sure if that will be enough to win the title.

NTS I agree . Have to take them one game at a time.

Still waiting on anything resembling stats from you.

thanks for making my point. 12 coaches against one writer who admits Craft is a very good defensive player. Much different then your opinion that he is over rated. Please stop you look like a child. Everyone without a bias knows Craft is a very good player. To say otherwise is foolish at best. I'm done debating the topic. Go bucks!!!!

Talking to you is like talking to a wall. NO ONE IS SAYING HE IS NOT A GOOD PLAYER. THAT DOESN'T MEAN HE CAN'T BE OVERRATED. PLEASE GO FIND A DICTIONARY AND LOOK UP OVERRATED!!! Sweet effing god.

The article shows that he was overrated by the coaches. He should NOT have been defensive player of the year. I'm done with you. I would get further talking to my 4 year old.
