Does anybody know when the cats would play thursday? I'm assuming being out west they'd play a later game.

I'd guess that Michigan State being the best team out there will get the 7:00 slot and us the 10:30 being coupled with them. Strictly speculation at this point.

Guess my logic is wrong, they might be speculating better travel for the other teams since they are closer to the west coast and thus more tickets being sold for later games. The Spokane website says the first game out there is at noon for tickets, so not sure about 11:10.

Wow, so the minute after our game was announced Gotlieb (aka Quagmire) decided to declare the immediate upset. And now that clown is doing our game. I tell you fellas, being a sportscaster is the way to go, because it clearly requires very little actual knowledge to do.

Afternoon start time. I'm in the awkward spot of having plenty of vacation days available, but not really appropriate to be using them right now for 1/2 days to watch cbb because we just downsized.

I'm probably in the minority of fans who actually likes Doug. I think he's better than most, and while he can be grating, I generally agree with what he says. Plus, announcers that don't sugar coat when refs blow calls will always get points with me.

Reggie Miller is the worst by a mile to the point that I like Elmore and really like Harlan, but he is so unbearable I'll end up muting the TV. Listening to him do the SD ST vs New Mexico game on Sat was the nut low.

If they wanted to use NBA guys, bring in Stan Van Gundy, Jeff Van Gundy, Barkley (high entertainment value), and Webber (very good)

Yes. You are in the minority of fans who like Doug. In fact, I think you might be the only one. Ever. In the history of fans everywhere. No one (but you) likes Doug "I act like I was a great player but can't shoot free throws" Gottleib.

Doug has always had some sort of grudge against the Bearcats for some reason. I'm not really allowed to like him. I used to not like him, but I've been a pretty big Jay Bilas fan lately.

I actually don't mind Gottlieb. He suffers from the same problem as most analysts, he talks way too much to reiterate his points during a game. He tries to use a small play that happens in the game to back up his overarching idea about a team.

Anyways, for the games....

It is a 4 team tournament Cincinnati, Harvard, Delaware and Michigan State. The winner of the tournament gets to play at Madison Square Garden possibly against former Big East teams UConn or Villanova. Let's go Cats!

This region truly sucks. No idea how we get shoved all the way west in the east region, well I guess if you go east enough you'll end up in Washington so I guess that's as east as you can get! Sucks for a student too, don't know who they're fooling advertising those 2 round tickets and a lottery to us, anyone who doesn't have rich parents or Delta standby free flights isn't going to this thing. Really, really wanted to take a few days off and go to it this year too! Vent~~~
