Here is what you said about Jenifer a while back:

"We need bigger guards. Jenifer, kj, Cobb all little. I hope Evans can dribble"

So before Jenifer was too little, now he plays big and it isn't a problem?
Quit looking into small things trying pick cat fights like little bih!!! not cool dude. My starting 5 tells you where I stand. Stopping acting like lil bih

I almost feel like Bulldog is just trolling us.

There is always this one person who takes this hard stance despite all the evidence pointing away from there opinion.

Im not against Jenifer Playing more minutes. But your acting like we need to start him from the get go when he clearly hasn't earned that position.

Dude I have my own viewpoint on basketball. So you come on here just to agree and ride other men surfboards? NOBODY on damn team earned their position. We lost to cupcakes last year, NOBODY avg OVER 10pts or 4asts. It's open tryouts EVERY year on my teams I don't care if Kobe on it.

Kentucky has proven that there is a world where that can happen. There are literally thousands of examples thru the years where better underclassmen unseated the veteran from his job. I'm not saying it will happen here, but it certainly could.

I agree it could but I just don't see it happening. And this isn't the year for it to start. Cronin loves his veterns and until a freshman the caliber of Jamal Murray commits to UC then it most likely won't happen.

As for Gary I think if he can hit that 10-15 foot jumper consistently then he can average around 13-14 points a game. I also want to see him average around 9 boards a game. I can see him on the second team all-aac.

Didn't Caupain as sophomore take senior job last year?

He is trolling us. I have been searching for the block feature but I can't find it.

Anyway, I agree with you that Jenifer hasn't earned anything. All I have heard is that he can pass but I am hearing mixed results on his defense and I don't know how good of a shooter he is. You need to be able to play defense to start for Mick and Jenifer isn't there yet. Troy has earned his position. I would say he is the second best player on this team. He plays D, hustles and takes care of the ball. All extremely valuable to Mick. In no world is a freshman going to come in and take his spot from him. Hopefully Jenifer pushes him but it won't go any further than that.

For everyone who thinks if Jenifer plays point it will mean Caupain gets less minutes (or wouldn't be the team leader) I think it's crazy. As you say above "I would say he is the second best player on the team". You keep your second best player on the court especially since some of us think he is better suited to play the 2 anyway.

That being said...TC will probably play point the next two years. I agree with those who hope he ends up playing the 2 because that will mean Jenifer is the real deal and ALSO needs to be on the court. It can only be a win win for this team if that unlikely scenario happens.

Mick seems to love that he is a "city guard" too...

It's Mick's job to hype up his players, and there's no doubt watching that video is where Bulldog got that part of his shtick from.

The fact that he was the #1 recruit when he was in the 7th grade means absolutely nothing, not to mention the fact it's a completely arbitrary thing to say........but it sounds good.

Lol, dude I've been known he was #1 in country. How many times I compared him to satterfield before season started? Give props when they are due.

Nky trolling if never seen jenifer play how you have opinion on him either way? How u on here talking about the scrimmage if you haven't at least took time out to watch 5min video of game?

With Cobb gone next year, we could easily see Jenifer, TC, Evans at 1, 2, 3. KJ might find his niche as the top bench scorer.

Some other key points that Mick made.....

"We're embracing the assist"

"The freshman are so cerebral...so we play offense more like a veteran team."

"No substitute for quickness, no substitute for quickness."

The Red squad, with Jenifer running the point tied the black squad with Caupain running the point. Mick said, "The only reason the red squad was down for a while was that they missed some open shots. Everyone is very quick to discount the possibility of Jenifer unseating Caupain from the point guard position, but those three quotes above from Mick's own mouth might say differently.

Listen bro, you want people to take your opinion of Jenifer serious but you admittedly have never seen him play in person and you're regurgitating quotes from the HC in your descriptions of him. If you were a college scout who watched him play multiple times I STILL wouldn't value your opinion that much because as the scout rankings have shown us they're not always that reliable.

I hope Jenifer is great, I hope he starts next year and TC moves to SG if that makes the team better. I don't really care as long as we compete for championships.

But for you to come on this board and continue to pound your chest about a guy you've never even seen play is borderline insane behavior. Give it a rest, you're making an ass of yourself. Jenifer isn't going to start right away and if at some point he does wind up pushing himself into that role no one on this board is going to be mad about it.

What's most likely to happen is he doesn't start at all this season and plays somewhere near 10-15 minutes a game. When that happens you won't say a damn word and you'll be back here next season pumping up the next guy you know nothing about. You'll keep doing that until you're eventually right and then you'll tell everyone I told you so.

I'm now done with you on this topic, carry on if you like.

Lol aint that what fan board is for pump up our favorite players??? Even if I haven't seen our players in person(seen jenifer 3-4x) I'm still big enough of crazy fan to at least watch all their online highlights and read bios. You ain't got to seen him play to know that if a 5'9 guard made it out of Baltimore to one of greatest university in world he's tough as fuck. J

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening this year.

I agree with you on this. I think Clark may be a little too timid to take on that kind of role this year. I think he will be lucky to get 10 PPG. There will be other players being more aggressive with their opportunities. Not saying I like it...just sayin. He's too important on boards and D though to not be in the game. It might be junior year before he starts to think it's his time.

Jenifer will be very valuable at the end of games when we have a lead beating the press and making free throws so I think he will play quite a few minutes maybe as the third guard. I don't think his half court defense is going to be good enough for him to be in games where we are down or against the top 3 pt. shooting teams.

About Gary Clark everybody was wrong about him starting all year so it wouldn't surprise me if everybody is wrong again and he has developed a face the basket short range game.
