Really hoping KJ and Jermaine can step right up and have an impact, hope Shaq carries over from the last few games and SK drives alot more. Really hoping that JJ can give about 7 points a game and Rubles around 8 but thats a long shot. Anyways what are some possible lineups you guys wanna see.

PG-JDIII-but I would imagine Guyn to start off
SG-SK
SF-SHAQ
PF-LAWRENCE
C-JJ

By far the best possible lineup. Maybe Titus at the 3 or 4 to start though.

I think Strickland starts at the 5 by the end of the year. From eveything I have seen about him...including his correspondence on this board, he will be the "billy bad ass" of the team.

I can't see any scenario where Rubles wouldn't start. He's too good on defense. He's our best rebounder. He's our best passer. His shot needs to get better obviously. But, I think he'll average at least 10 pts. next year and be really solid in everything else.

I'd rather look at it from the minutes per game stand point.

SK:33
Shaq:24
JJ:24
Rubles:23
Lawrence:23
Guyn:12
Sanders:12
JD3:12
Nyrasuk:10
Strickland:8
Morman:7
KJ:6
Caupain:6

There is going to be times when there isn't going to be a true point guard on the floor and I don't think they really need to have one at all times on the floor, rubles can bring the ball up and so can Lawrence and shaq. I was trying to find more minutes for guyn and JD3 but I just don't see where they get those minutes. I could see one of the freshman red-shirting because Mick always seems to do so, so you could add a minute or two for another player. But this is the line-up without Gaines on our team.

where exactly have you seen a lot from him?, he has no videos online of him dominating a game, he isn't in the rivals top 150.......... I hear he is going to be really good, I just wish I could see him in action before I make my case on wither or not he will be an instant contributor.

G Guyn -- JDIII/Caupain/Johnson (WEAK SPOT)
G Kilpatrick -- JDIII/Guyn/Caupain/Johnson/Morman (Three freshman are interchangeable)
F Rubles -- Sanders/Thomas/Lawrence/Kilpatrick/Morman
F Jackson --Rubles/Lawrence/Thomas/Sanders
C Nyarsuk --Jackson/Strickland/Rubles (VERY WEAK SPOT)

UC is really deep from the 2/3/4 spots, the 1 and 5 will be huge question marks.

I think someone will emerge at the PG spot. The 5 is the big question for me.

I know Rubles will start cause he is a good rebounder just hopes he works on that shot and that god awful ball fake which turns into a turnover. Honestly I havent seen alot of stuff on Strickland I'm just guessing he might be another Gaines, as for KJ, Caupain, and Lawrence sounds like these guys can score.

I agree completely. Rubles will be a much improved player next year.

JJ will not be starting at the 5 next year or the 4 for that matter. He is a sub that will fill a few different roles

Zags is reporting that Jerome Seagears will visit Cincinnati along with WVU, Marquette and Arkansas. I believe is waiting to see who the new coach is before deciding to take these visits.

if he signs wouldnt he still require a scholly for this year even if he has to sit out? pretty sure thats how it goes. And the guy isnt an improvement at the position and thats saying something considering we dont have a pg right now

this is the lineup I am hoping for minus JJ at the 5. It would be great if Strickland could win the 5 spot by season's end. I am hoping one of 3 other guards can win the PG spot over GG. If GG, JJ, and TR are backups...we should be looking pretty good. I understand it is likely that they could all start...but I hope we don't finish the season that way.

I am guessing if Seagears did choose UC, Gaines (or Nyarsuk) would be leaving and someone like Morman would go to prep school and be part of the 2014 class. With the situation with Mike Rice being fired, I could see Rutgers players getting a waiver to be eligible immediately. However I do not know how likely he is to transfer here.

If morman went prep school he would be able to open in recruiting again so coming here wouldnt be a guarantee and maybe(if his grades qualify) a slap in the face saying we dont want you yet. But right now either Gaines or Nyarsuk are likely to be the ones out now with the scholly limit...Losing 2 centers, albeit neither are good, would be bad considering we only have 1 center and he is a freshmen. I dont want JJ playing center..that will just be ugly

1 - Guyn
2 - SK
3 - Shaq
4 - Lawrence
5 - Rubles or JJ if Rubles starts at the 4

This isn't necessarily what I want to see but I think it is how the season will start. I think Rubles will be better and not just show flashes next season and he rebounds and plays solid D.

Spot on Jeff. Rubles is too solid not to log major minutes. If we could start a J.Seagers or Eli Carter at point we could be much better next year. I think Mick only brings in someone late if he make a big impact.

Rubles will play over JJ. He is way better than him. One of the bigs is going to have to step up. Neither JJ or Rubles can't play the 5. Here is to hoping.

I'm a big fan of his, but I don't think Shaq starts next year. He'll be our instant offense guy off the bench and will play a lot, but I don't see Mick starting him.

Guyn
SK
Rubles
Lawrence
JJ
