I am with you Jeff. I have been saying this all year that if all three of the Amigo's were to be "on", then it would take a hell of a team to beat us, maybe none.

However, with that being said, there hasn't been a game yet where all 3 have been lethal. We are tough when two of them are hitting. Imagine the ceiling when all three are money?

Hopefully we will get this coming forward...better yet, the tourney? I'd take it.

You'd think law of averages alone would give you a couple games they were all on...lol

Jeff, with the lack of a inside presence it is tough on the 3 amigos. Always seems like opposition has a free defender to help on D. Modj does look like he is getting better. I guess we can only hope.

I'm just hoping for games that Cash and Kilpatrick to play consistently well. I don't think Parker is in the same category as those two. I'd much rather have Parker play as the role player than the go to guy. He just doesn't seem to have any confidence and is only looking to get fouled when he drives to the basket. If Cash and Kilpatrick get on a roll it will open it up to Parker to allow the game to come to him.

I can agree with that, but they need a consistent 3rd scorer. It can come from different players but it has to be consistent.

My thoughts from last night, Cash disappointed, SK came out on a mission in the second half, showed he is a leader of this team. Park has disappointed me of late, bad decisions and a lot of them lately, turnovers, shots not sure what is wrong with him. JJ finally decided to come to play, it was great to see the JJ we all know and love show up last night, let's hope he shows up for the rest of the season, it could mean a lot. I'll put up with a couple stupid passes from him if he brings that intensity and the #JustinJacksonMeanFace. Gaines impressed, the kid plays hard all the time, did anyone notice he had glasses last night, any thought that maybe that will help him hold onto the ball, maybe there was a vision problem? Where was David?

Overall a decent effort, hopefully they learn and move on.

Two main themes stood out to me

(1) In the 2nd halfs of the Syracuse game and Rutgers, we were at our best this season as far as getting solid movement in the paint, the ball into our 4's and 5's and creating offense from there. Between Justin, Trub and Cheik taking turns, I really hope we gain momentum and keep this up. The diffence is painfully obvious when we're able to get the ball in the middle.

(2) Cash clearly was not 100% last night. I hope this is not a lingering problem and that is my biggest concern for the season. He's playing about 2 gears below his normal speed and you can just tell he's taking it a bit easier out there. I'm not questioning is effort, he's just playing much slower and tentative. I really hope he heals and gets at 100% (or at least close).

While I'm sure Cash's knee is not 100%. Picking up 2 fouls in the first 5:00 min. of the game and then your 3rd 50 feet from the basket in the first couple of min. into the second half is not somethng you expect from a 5th year PG. Especailly considering our lack of good ballhandlers on this team. apparently Cash also got into a little heated conversation with Mick that didn't sit well with the coach.

Mick said if his knee wasnt all right, he wouldn't be playing. To me, he didn't look hindered by the knee; seemed like he just couldn't get in a rhythm.

Cash basically sat the whole 1st half and made some bonehead plays in the 2nd. Cronin said Cash was frustrated with his play and should be. It wasnt his knee that made him pick up 2 fouls 20 feet from the basket. It wasnt his knee that made him bounce pass the ball to the other team. What Cronin did not like was comments Cash said back to him. In postgame comments Cronin said he teaches his kids how to talk to a Boss or supervisor in the real working world and how you need how to learn to listen to them and keep your mouth shut and adjust. This is why I love Cronin, its more than just bball he teaches, he teaches life lessons and skills.

It's interesting how different coaches take different approaches. Huggins always said he allowed his players to talk back to him for various reasons....Either way it's disappointing to hear that about Cash b/c he is supposed to be the leader of this team. Even more disappointing then his play last night was after he made some bad turnovers he pouted about them. That's not what you want to see from your senior guard.

I agree with ya, but I don't think its anything serious. Cronin said he understood Cash and frustrated and he said as he should have been. They still love each other but great to see Cronin always teaching life lessons, even to his 5th year senior!!

I'm really making a separate point here. Cash's 3 fouls were pretty inexcusable and he did not play well last night.

Separtely from that, I thought he looked hesitant and was playing noticeably slower and less fluid than he usually does. For the season, to me, this is a bigger concern...especially since we just got off 9 days' rest. Hopefully, I'm wrong and just paranoid.

Doesn't concern me to much, arguments will happen between those that are around each other that much. I really believe right now that things are more mental with Cash than physical. People go through these "slumps".

And talk about disagreements, did you see some of the things happening on the other bench. At least two times I saw players yelling back during very heated exchanges.

Did anyone else notice Mick Rice's antics on the sideline. I am all for a passionate emotional coach but I thought he looked like amateur whiny coach out there. Since I could not go to the game I saw a ton of times Rice looked like a raging psycho who cried about everything. He must have had the refs respect bc I don't know how he wasn't T'd up. Or Burr is too old to know what was going on.

Rice was going crazy on the sideline. Even to the point of walking all the way to half court to yell at the officials during a TV timeout. He should have been T'd up at the beginning of the game. Jim Burr was close to doing it twice but then he probably forgot what he was doing and carried on with the game. He seriously looked like a little kid who cries when he doesnt get his way. I thought it was pretty funny to watch though.

at times, he seemed to be almost mocking/mimicking the refs...the gym shoes he was wearing (which is a great benefit, no disrepect to the cause) definitely did not make him look less whiny

compared to Buzz, Rice's actions were harmless...still cannot believe that Buzz never received a technical or fine from his actions against UC

i could be mistaken, but i do not remember seeing Gaines wear glasses...i noticed he was wearing them last night...protection or correction?...regardless, he provided some solid minutes last night

At the end, when the game clock person started the clock before a RU guy picked up the ball, I thought Rice was going to hurt that person, totally uncalled for. He should be embarrassed for how his actions show him.
