Rutgers Game Thread

I honestly didn't notice Rice's antics last night save the early instance where I'm guessing one of his players called a timeout he didn't want or something. Yeah, I'm surprised at some of the antics these refs allow. I don't remember seeing a coach getting T'd up all year. Buzz was just absolutely embarrassing the refs in the Marquette game. I think the refs as a whole have just been horrible this year and I think it's one of the reasons play around the league/nation has been so bad. It seems like at least 2 or 3 times a game the refs have to stop the game and discuss something or look at tape for something I'm not sure is even allowable to look at on tape. They're so inconsistent with what they do and don't call not even from game to game but in game. It has to be tough for teams to know how to play and stopping the clock so much hurts the flow of the game. I actually thought UC got the benefit from the refs last night which I'll rarely say.

If all it took to play hard like he did against Rutgers was to put on some glasses I'd say Kelvin needs to keep wearing them. I dont think he'll ever develop into a great scorer but he could be a great defender. I think that people sometimes expect too much from him since he barely played last year and has had limited minutes up until last game. He's only a sophomore and if Mick is high on him then thats good enough for me.

I agree because being a great defender and finishing ally oop's will most likely be the best he gets. I pray every time he is on the court he does not get fouled because his ft's are atrocious. Its pretty much like a turnover.
