Have ZERO problem with no MOMS allowed. I practiced this myself. He might have insecure wife who knows. Can’t see them doing investigations just for parent participation.
Uc is never getting into a p5. Ship has sailed... probably shouldn’t even bring that up.
That ship was apparently going to get hot again as contracts come up in 2023. Football will be by far the biggest factor but BB will help.
I don't even know what the complaint is. A parent can be involved in their kid's life without being involved with the program. No parent should ever feel entitled to be involved in the program.
Gambling is the future of sports revenue. Fox Sports rebranding as Bally's, will probably become a joint broadcasting/betting platform. NFL Hall of Fame building a casino on site. The legalization of sports betting is going to change everything. No market value adds. Probably be better off independent and sign a deal with Netflix
These 14 players have left since brannen took the job,

Lobot says Cunningham wants Brannen gone. Not exactly a revelation at this point. Apparently Justin Williams article says they're looking at CARA violations (max 20hr / week team activities).
John is no dummy. If he broke a rule like that you would think he would know and take a buyout.
At this point. Cunningham needs to grow. He's setting john up to fail so he can be gone
At what point does the prez step in?
The picture seems to change on a daily basis, but this is where I'm at now too. Whatever reasons he has for wanting Brannen out, Cunningham better get it done with a new coach lined up next week. Even if he does that, firing a coach with a drawn out, secretive process and reaching for a flimsy cause technicality is not a good look for a program. It's all so underhanded. The more I think about this the more John becomes favorable to me.
If there was any sort of cause he would take a buyout for his sake he's not a dummy.
This screams more and more like Cunningham just hates the guy and wants him out.
If Cunningham is truly railroading the program just to make it impossible for John to win he should be fired immediately.
I'm fine with this. Cunningham and the administration spent time investigating the claims of the players regarding culture. Apparently it involved multiple staff as well and possibly some players still on the team. At some point, Cunningham and the admins (and quite possibly even the University president) decided they wanted him gone.
But, creating a toxic culture while bad for the team and the university is not a fireable offense and they didn't have the money to fire Brannen. So they went digging. They found CARA violations, a technicality - a rule that many coaches violate - but it is a technicality that gives cause.
If it wasn't for the toxic culture Brannen created, they wouldn't have looked for the CARA violations. If it wasn't for the violations, they wouldn't have found cause and would have been forced to keep Brannen around a couple more years (and they would have issued a statement of support).
But now they have toxic culture as why they want to fire him and CARA violations as cause. The independent fact finder is dotting the I's and crossing the T's. They know cause will be found, but they have to go through the formal process.
Brannen is gone. Good riddance. In two years he burned the program down and made over half his players and some of his staff hate him. He's a great X's and O's guy, but in coaching relationships matter more and he was a failure at relationship building and maintenance.
Let's get a coach who knows his X's and O's, but who also knows off court relationships matter as much as on court coaching.
I imagine covid protocols kept the players mom from helping with dinners etc..,
