Per Chad, Cunningham and Pinto are in lockstep. This isn't Cunningham going rogue. It's Cunningham, the Board of Trustees and Pinto joined together.

They aren't going to reveal anything to the public until afterwards (if ever). It's possible there is more to the story.

They better have a coach ready to announce. And they better not whiff.

I don’t like Brannen and want another coach. That said just fire him because you don’t like his performance and move on. Something nobody has bought up, If this was really serious no way UC allow him hang around team still, he would’ve been on paid leave during this investigation if anything. Paying firm $250k just to save couple million make us look small time. Pay him his full buyout and move on.

What players have spoken out? We have heard two things... Coach wouldn't allow orange slices from the parents and practice was too hard lol.

They didn't quit under huggins because they couldn't. The transfer rules are insane.

Thinking of a best case scenario. We have some players now that seem to want to stay. We have some players potentially waiting this out to see who the coach will be. There is at least one coach (miller) who could potentially bring some players along.

If we could keep 7-8 of our players and bring 2-3 along with a new coach we may only need to fill a 2-4 spots as opposed to 8-10.

All coaches now could probably bring some players with the transfer rules. Belmont has a 6-11 Jr Center with a 119.5 ORTG and 6.6 block rate. Belmont fell apart when he got hurt at the end of the year. Just picture a lefty Vogt, I know you guys can't wait (although he can shoot a bit, 72% career FT shooter and 31% career 3 on 81 attempts).

Yeah, on the skinny podcast, chad said that the AD has been meeting with the players transferring to keep them informed and trying to keep them.

The whole situation is strange. I’m all for siding with the players, but if there doesn’t turn out to be much there, that’s a dangerous game.

Really this whole order of operations makes no sense. Players play for coaches, not schools, why does he think kids will stick around at the school with a random coach?

Who Frickin Knows, I just want it to be over too. We can't sign anyone until its resolved.

And maybe the players are demanding action from Brannen to take sensitivity training or something, I dunno. Maybe he could actually come back. Maybe he's an ego maniac and wasn't receptive to constructive criticism and this is the walk up call.

The AD is keeping this close to his vest. So there could very well be more damning allegations that John C is not going to go public with unless he has to ( loses the job but saves his career).

Chad says it would be an awful look to a court if they found out you were pursuing other coaches while the investigation was going on so I'd imagine nothing official. Maybe just back door communications
