Some people can't be happy unless they're mad.
I'm only happy when it rains.
Some people can't be happy unless they're mad.
I just have to do this, don't want anybody reading the BS you make up and think it's true.
Of the teams that made the sweet 16 last year 10 had a AdjT of 150th or lower, 6 220 or lower.
4 elite 8 teams had an AdjT of 223 or slower.
Final 4 had 3 teams with AdjT of 245 or slower.
Sweet 16 teams with tempo in the top 100? 4, of those only 1 got to the elite 8 and 0 to the final 4.
Those Final 4 teams averaged 72 to 79 points per game....not exactly slowing the game down. If we played a team like the 2006-2015 UC Bearcats, then I might get concerned. Again, I base my thoughts on tempo on what I see with my eyes, not on some stupid adjT statistic. There are a gazillion stupid stats today. None of them are better than common sense.

If a team wants to slow us down into a defensive game of attrition, well, we have invented and mastered that game. Plus, Mick says this is one of the best ball movement teams he's had, so a slower game won't worry me at all. We pass and shoot better than any teams in the past, so bring it on. My belief is that teams would rather take their chances in a faster game with us rather than unleashing our past ability to play the slow pace.

Yet somehow those stupid stats have access to something your eyes don't. It's called data from every game instead of the handful of times you catch a team on tv during the year. Those Final 4 teams averaged 72 to 79 points per game....not exactly slowing the game down. Guys in double figures tonight?
I say Cobb, KJ, Evans (I hope), Clark, and Ellis.

I know which one is more reliable.
Everyone, just enjoy this game tonight. After tonight, the schedule gets real, real quick.
I'm saying 12-1 non-conference record.
Get kj out NOW!!!!!!
