Cj fredricks also in the running for us. Us and uk. Probably a long shot but he could easily average 10 a game here.
You’d think, with the minutes we could offer, we’d be able to get a couple front court players that could give us 5 pts and 6 boards a game, and play decent defense.

Looks like Tari is declaring his commitment tomorrow. Hopefully to us! Being so soon after Wes's visit seems to be a good sign.
We seem to be a long shot at this point, LSU is the front runner.... hopefully I’m wrong
What does corryville Carl say? Lol
Ok, but who? Tre Mitchell, Emanuel Miller, and Nick Ongenda look like the only guys comparable to Tari as underclassmen, and there aren't a ton of comparable upperclassmen either. There aren't many options that give you the rim protection and rebounding that Tari does. I'm sure we can find some ok fillers for a year or two, but that's a downgrade. At BCN there is talk about juco Langston Wilson. He could be a good replacement.Took words out my mouth. If they play minutes then guys did shouldn’t be that hard find replacements or better
Or he could be declaring that he's looking forward to 4/20https://twitter.com/TAR13ASON/status/1384281862265196544

My point is we aren't going to upgrade or even replace Tari in the transfer portal. Nobody has his combination of blocks + steals and rebounding. Obviously we will have to bring in several guys who are decent, whether he stays or not.
Ongenda is right there with him as a sophomore. Good finisher at the rim too. Tre Mitchell and Emanuel Miller (also sophomores) give you better offense but worse blocks/rebounding. There are a handful of seniors too. After that you're looking at clear downgrades. I really hope Tari stays.Nerlens Noel was the only other freshman to have Tari's block and steal rate (i guess since they started tracking those stats).
You don't really just replace a guy like that.

We are trying to keep him. It’s not like we are choosing to let him go.Here are the rim protectors: barttorvik.com/playerstat.php?link=y&sIndex=22&xvalue=trans

Yes I know. TheRealMick said "shouldn’t be that hard find replacements or better". I don't agree. We are trying to keep him. It’s not like we are choosing to let him go.
