Ralph, is that foot completely in your mouth, or are you still working on it? :D

I was with them all the way, even when Dion kept making 1 out of every 2 free throws along the way.

I was using reverse psychology in my earlier post!

When we got down about 9 points I had to stop watching hoping it would change something in the game. I came back about 10 minutes later and we were down 3. So I decided not to watch some more. Then when we were still in it with about 3-4 minutes I decided I could watch again and not affect the outcome:) That was nerve racking! Well done Cats...you didn't quit when I did!!!

How big would a Cuse or a tourney win help us in seeding? Can we get to a 6 or 7? I think we can if we run this thing.

I think we are a 6-7 seed right now with that win against the #14 team in the nation for the second time this year. I'd have a hard to believing we would be anything higher than a 7 seed...... if we beat cuse tomorrow we would be a 4-5 and if we won it all we would be a 3.

I agree that a 7 seed should be in order at this point. I think a 3 seed would be high if we ran it, that would mean they think we are a top 12 team. I just don't see that. Either way it's great to be dancing!

Gotta disagree. We're not going to gain that type of respect, even if we ran the table in the BEast tourney. We get no better than a 6 seed, period.

I think we are too...but that's not the love we are getting from most of the pundits. We have been hovering between 10-12. I think we at least moved up to the 8-9...but I would much rather a 6-7. I would be suprised to see us move up as far as you are suggesting we could...but stranger things have happened.

What a great finish by the Cats. They hung around long enough and made baskets down the stretch. Their defense in the last 5 minutes and the three OT's was great. Georgetown brought it today and we shot horrifically, for us to stick that out and get the W says alot about this team.

You have to think the last three games of the season if we were going to win the tournament and we beat (14) Georgetown (2) Syracuse and (9) marquette in three games in a row you deserve to be a 3 seed. Now I dont know how likely that will be but, beating the 14,2,9 teams in the country in a row...... ya i'd say we were in the top 12 teams in the country.

what a great game with no quit in em'... I am a happy fan! I hope they can hit some threes tomorrow becasue they will need it... I think they will come out swinging and play with a lot of defensive intensity!! Wonder if the new york recruits are seeing this... Maybe Obekpa can come and watch the cuse game...

It's possible, I just think taking the season as a whole with not just us but other teams I don't see them making the determination that we are top 12. I could see a 4 seed, 3 just seems a stretch to me. I will say I hope that you are right, I'd love to be a 3 seed.

I love how everyone from ESPN hates so much. No surprise buy they just showed our resume and had quality wins gtown uconn and nd. What about Marquette and Louisville lol. Its just comical and listening to that women announcer for ESPN who did our game made me want to vomit. It is clear we can play and beat just about any team. Enjoying the ride. Oh and the play of Yancy gave me chills!!! He took that game over. Straight beast mode

I thought the announcers were great. They were not biased and kept pointing out what the refs were missing (most seemed to be stuff they missed on Georgetown). I thought the woman was on point with just about everything she said, pointing out bad shots on our part and throwing out stats showing why we have to rely so much on our defense to win.

Also liked in the Cronin interview afterwards how he stuck-up for Yancy again saying he was a good kid and made one mistake.

That was one of the best second halfs and beyond I've ever watched. It was a blast! How many clutch shots were made on both sides? Loved UC's heart in this game. Yancy refused to lose. He was decided when he went to the basket and played under control. Loved his hustle at the end of regulation to toss the three while falling to the stands.

The defense played Huge from the 8:00 minute mark on. I think at one point GT scored 1 point in 6 plus minutes. What an impressive win to grind out.

Fair enough! I did the same thing with my tweet earlier during the game when they were down 11. Every time this year (with the exception of Marquette) that I tweeted "Game Over" UC has come back to win.

Bingo. Doris is a really good announcer as far as knowledge, content and analysis. Excitement level is meh, but i don't need an announcer to make me feel excited, and I just dont think doris burke has an over hyped bone in her body.

She could prob cut out some of the silly puns she was using earlier in the week like Simsanity or other stuff, but when she actually talks about the game she's one of the better ones out there, and hands down the best woman announcer.

I think the only thing she said the whole game that was "wrong" was that Gtown should really consider going for two when they were down two on the final possession of one of the OT's. I wont bore everyone with the math, but it takes a really special set of circumstances to ever make going for two the correct decision (unless they just hand you a wide open dunk/layup) and in general the primary option on a play there should be for a three.

She was a Georgetown fan growing up, so I can understand why she was gushing over Sims (who played spectacular) when UC made their come back she was very fair and very on point in her analysis.

I like Doris. She consistently says UC is a grind it out team and appreciates it about them, rather than dog them for it. Can't blame anyone for gushing on Sims yesterday. He had a great two day run.
