Ralph, is that foot completely in your mouth, or are you still working on it?
I was with them all the way, even when Dion kept making 1 out of every 2 free throws along the way.
I was using reverse psychology in my earlier post!

Guilty as charged!
I think we are a 6-7 seed right now with that win against the #14 team in the nation for the second time this year. I'd have a hard to believing we would be anything higher than a 7 seed...... if we beat cuse tomorrow we would be a 4-5 and if we won it all we would be a 3.
Gotta disagree. We're not going to gain that type of respect, even if we ran the table in the BEast tourney. We get no better than a 6 seed, period.I think we are a 6-7 seed right now with that win against the #14 team in the nation for the second time this year. I agree that a 7 seed should be in order at this point. I think a 3 seed would be high if we ran it, that would mean they think we are a top 12 team. I just don't see that. Either way it's great to be dancing!
You have to think the last three games of the season if we were going to win the tournament and we beat (14) Georgetown (2) Syracuse and (9) marquette in three games in a row you deserve to be a 3 seed. Now I dont know how likely that will be but, beating the 14,2,9 teams in the country in a row...... ya i'd say we were in the top 12 teams in the country.

I thought the announcers were great. They were not biased and kept pointing out what the refs were missing (most seemed to be stuff they missed on Georgetown). I thought the woman was on point with just about everything she said, pointing out bad shots on our part and throwing out stats showing why we have to rely so much on our defense to win.
Bingo. Doris is a really good announcer as far as knowledge, content and analysis. Excitement level is meh, but i don't need an announcer to make me feel excited, and I just dont think doris burke has an over hyped bone in her body.
She could prob cut out some of the silly puns she was using earlier in the week like Simsanity or other stuff, but when she actually talks about the game she's one of the better ones out there, and hands down the best woman announcer.
I think the only thing she said the whole game that was "wrong" was that Gtown should really consider going for two when they were down two on the final possession of one of the OT's. I wont bore everyone with the math, but it takes a really special set of circumstances to ever make going for two the correct decision (unless they just hand you a wide open dunk/layup) and in general the primary option on a play there should be for a three.
She was a Georgetown fan growing up, so I can understand why she was gushing over Sims (who played spectacular) when UC made their come back she was very fair and very on point in her analysis.
