Just be patient guys. No more speculating from me. Passed on what I was told by someone not in the inner circle but associated with someone who is. May pan out and it may not. I don't claim to be a recruiting guru nor do I have the time I used to have to apply to it when we've scooped some pay sites. What I told you was second hand and is subject to interpretation from the person who told me. Basically said there is guy that has told the staff he wants to be a Bearcat but that they are looking at all present and developing options before pulling the trigger. I'm not trying to insinuate it's Graham, I don't know. If people want to criticize and say I'm being vague that's ok. He was told there is a a recruit that has said, "I want to be a Cincinnati Bearcat." People keep asking so I passed it on.

I look on 247 and see a piece of information - I look on bearcattalk and see it repackaged minutes/hours later by you with an always vague "something extra" spin.

I am sure the folks here are really super happy that you are willing to blatantly steal the work of others - I am just not sure how you can do it without feeling like a complete schmuck.

But it is important for others, even if they don't care, to know that the majority of the inside information they are getting is stripped from Chad.

I keep hearing about 5th year transfers and frankly I don't know as I have told people in pm's. There are several names popping up and that people have mentioned to me (not any source) but I have no ideal to be blatantly honest. This is a voluntary thing for me and when I was off work I applied myself to it for hours. Now I don't have that kind of time. Don't have an inside source. I have a long time friend who is not directly in the program but associated with someone who is. We have beers and communicate fairly regular. So take what I give you for what it's worth. I'm not trying to convince anybody of anything. I'm upfront about where I am on this and it isn't as an insider.

I'm sorry but you are very wrong I'm not going to pay to get some info I get for free. I cant see what you all talk about over there nor do I care, a source talks and gives info to more than 1 person that's why people say the same answers.

It's always amazed me how people think there is only ONE. Lot's of recruiting end results aren't hard to figure out if you take the time or have the time to follow the information from multiple sources. You may not get a definite commit till it's official but you certainly can get a pretty good read on where a kid is and where he will end up. It's also a pretty good way to eliminate schools from a recruiting process. I get emails, pm's, and look at different recruiting sites and twitter feeds. I guarantee you the people who run pay sites do the same thing. Yes, they typically have an in and I don't blame them for getting upset if stuff is taken because sometimes they are told things in confidence and when it's "out there" their sources may get pissed. But a reality of life is people talk. The surest way to make something public is to say, "Don't tell anybody but..." That's why I am upfront with not having an insider. I'm not trying to impress anybody because frankly I don't care what people think of me in this area. Not looking to make a living from it or a reputation. I have a better source for X than UC. My kids uncle is a lifelong friend of CMack. Not that I give a crap about what happens there.

I understand what your saying I'm not here to tell anyone I have the best info or info before anyone else all I do is hear things from different people I know some higher up than others and pass along the info to people on this site that want to hear it and get excited about it, I'm not always right (the cincinnati reds trend) but I am always willing to give others my info even right or sometimes wrong. Just to jump in on this...I appreciate every bit of "inside" information. I understand things change and its the nature of the business. It is fun for fans like myself to hear new things going on with recruiting. Its exciting. Who cares if it doesn't pan out, its the way things are. I don't go to other websites that offer info so please keep all news coming, its much appreciated.

I also know there are people who are close friends with the right people involved with UC basketball. I mean I know Larry Davis's wife and daughter quite well. So when people say they are good friends with someone involved with UC bball I am going to believe them.

They also have the job of interviewing, speaking with and building relationships with head coaches and assistant coaches.

Any collection of people on a website can then pass this on and apparently some even feel entitled to pretend they have a source other than just "some guy" they know.

Just don't delude yourself - 90% of the not-public knowledge, not twitter stuff you read on here came from a pay site. Yes occassionally we all hear a nugget from a high roller donor or whatnot. Trust me I get that info too - most of the time I read something on here I can tell you with near certainty where the info came from.

There are two disgusting parts to this equation:
On one hand you have the most connected, best information source in the city CHAD - who is having conversations with legitimate stakeholders in the process not to mention actual PLAYERS. Chad can't even give all the information he would like to to PAYING CUSTOMERS because certain people steal it and rephrase it CONSTANTLY (always with a little extra BS pepper added to make it sound like new and even MORE info!).

The second part is that you complete jackballs who want to come across as recruiting gurus and insiders so they ACT LIKE they didn't steal anything. Trust me they ARE, nearly every time. Some guy is doing this full time, legit media reporting and publishing to making a living. And he has to read some complete douchebag report it back (with a little "extra" added!) as if it his.

It is disgusting - it is wayy beyond pathetic.

Agreed. In Guyn's case he has put 3 years of hard work in this program and I respect and appreciate him for that. If he wants to go somewhere else and play more I totally understand.
