Torian Graham 2014 JUCO SG

Help Support BearcatTalk:

Graham would be a very nice pick up, UC badly needs some backcourt depth especially a guy that create plays. Caupain and Johnson seem capable while we know Guyn cannot really do that and Morman is a question mark.

Graham tweeted the final score of the UC game last night. Hope that's a good sign.

Hey just retweeted these posts within the hour.

@Torian_Graham I'm not hinting at anything, but I'm just saying, UC could really use a high scoring guard next year to play 32 minutes/game.

@Torian_Graham #BearcatNation would love to have you

Waiting for @Torian_Graham to become "JUCO's Best Wing" and then commit to Cincy #bearcats

We all know that everything can change in an instant in recruiting (for good or bad) so I will wait to see something a little more formal before I get excited. That said, if he does commit, I will be absolutely THRILLED. Fingers crossed.

jeff - any concern about graham's character and mixing with this team? he does not have the best reputation for being coachable/team player dating back to his high school days. i am concerned that next when the leadership likely isn't as strong as it is this year that he could certainly be a locker room issue. uc has built this team based on a strong locker room and culture. i would just hate to see that undone in one season, especially if he has to come off the bench.

Mick has shown the ability to deal with stuff and I don't think he would compromise the locker room so I believe Coach believes he'll be fine.

I agree with Jeff above. Plus it is starting to seem like Graham knows we are lacking that back court scoring, especially with SK leaving. I think he knows he can contribute right away. I like that!!

Really have no issue with TG character. Don't know him and I'll assume if Mick is recruiting him he must pass mustard. The only thing I would advise TG is if you come here and you want minutes be prepared to guard.

Mick has also shown the ability to not deal with stuff. Alvin Mitchell and Octavious Ellis come to mind. I'm not comparing TG to them, as I don't know anything about him, but I'm not necessarily giving Mick the benefit of the doubt. With that being said, after last nights offensive performance, TG is someone we definitely need to take a chance on.

If you are a booster I believe posting on people's twitter page is technically a violation. Not sure if you're a UCats member or not, but if you are you are a booster. I'm not trying to call you out and I don't think a fan posting on a recruits page will amount to anything unless your linked to some serious money and there's a question as to whether they are trying to influence their decision with that money. But just putting it out there so people know you do have to be aware of such things when dealing with social media.

Don't worry, I have zero actual affiliation with UC, other than the fact that I attend around 5-6 games per year. But I know where you're coming from, which is why I tweeted something jokingly subtle, haha.

The NCAA's existence is a violation. I haven't seen anything so poorly run with such a terrible leader (Mark Emmert). Pretty soon, shaking hands with a player will be a violation. Why don't they have a basic set of rules that they strictly enforce and then cut the other crap? People will cheat the system no matter what you do, why do all of this silly crap just to say you are closing a few loopholes at the expense of everyone else?
