If we land this kid...he will be a good kid who made one bad decision. If we don't he will likely be a locker room cancer somewhere else:)

I don't like sour grapes

Mick Cronin just said, when asked about recruiting for '14, you can never have enough shooting. I believe he was referencing Graham.

Just gotta tell the kid... don't ever let it be a problem again. It doesn't have to be political or moral -- just, hey, I'm going to give you this opportunity, don't screw it up. If he's a nice kid and doesn't have any other behavioral/criminal history (does he?), then I would recruit him just as hard as before.

I heard that and another interesting thing was he was asked about recruiting and what he looks for other than talent and he was talking about how he looks at the makeup of the player. How tough the player is mentally and physically is something he looks for. Then Mick talked about how certain recruits demand things, like PT or being a starter. Cronin basically said that if a recruit says that he will not lie about playing time, if he thinks they may not see the floor he will tell them this, no matter what the recruiting rankings say. Said he would basically not recruit or stop recruiting someone like that. Thought about Jared Terrell when he said that. Cronin didn't just rebuild the bball program he did it the right way, getting good kids that represent our university very well.

Reports are that Rashad Vaughn who is announcing this week will not likely choose Kentucky. We'll see if that leads to the UK offer Torian has been seeking.

Would be such a bad move for Graham. Will only be there two years and would be a backup probably the whole time. He'd be much better off going to UC or Mizzou.

Rashad Vaughn will make his college decision on Tuesday night on INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL between 6 and 7 PM ET on @CBSSportsNet.

We'll see after tonight about UK recruiting Graham...

THIS JUST IN: ESPNU No. 18 recruit overall, shooting guard Rashad Vaughn announces his decision to play for UNLV next season.

Here comes that UK offer for Graham....

I wouldn't go that far. There's no indication UK will extend the offer even though with Memphis coach cal did a lot of recruiting in the juco ranks.

They had spent a lot of time visiting him
As a JUCO he will go where he can walk in and play immediately. With only two years to make a impression on the NBA he'll need to see the court in a hurry. If he is able to do that at KY he will go there. If not it is a crap shoot between whoever offers him the chance to play right away and has the program exposure to get him drafted. I doubt he'll attend a school without it being a certainty that he is in the line up from day 1.

Not saying it will happen but there is very much to suggest that he may get a UK offer. They lost out on the Rashad Vaughn sweepstakes and have been in contact with him recently and have basically told him just to be patient. I think Mizz is the front runner but if UK offers he will be a wildcat.

He won't get that promise here and as has been mentioned he's a Mizzou lean and UK's to pick if they want him. He is on record saying UK told him they speak of him every recruiting meeting they have. He may not get that offer but the loss of Vaughn increases the chances that he does.
