Not surprisingly, for coach Mick Cronin, the issue is far more complex.

It's easy to point to numbers like 28.1, the team's 3-point percentage, last in the Big East. Or point to 1.0, the team's assist to turnover ratio, good for 13th in the conference.

UC appeared to move better on offense lately, but still rely on outside shots instead of going to the basket. I think they could utilize Bishop, Wilks, and LS better to give them opportunities to slash to the bucket. Also, a much more concerted effort to get Thomas and Gates the ball inside in a position to score. More movement, more screens, and more passes inside. This will all open up open outside shots.
Course.....it's easy on paper.
 
Yeah, he didn't look overly impressive last nite. I'm just trying to figure out a way to use his athleticism. Back screens and 3's from him are not enough. I would suggest he strongly works on driving to the bucket this summer.
