Stop with the exaggeration. The refs cost us the game. Well be back and ready for a deep ncaa run

I told you guys gtown is a much tougher matchup than ul

the refs cost us every game according to you. What happened to them winning the BET?

you...are...a....tool.

Yeah, it had nothing to do with playing another "live or die" on 3s game, Kilpatrick going 0/8 behind the arc, and turnovers left and right. The refs did this one. /Sarcasm

I don't want to hear anything about refs or defense or rebounding. This is the same sh*t we've seen from this team all season. So inconsistent, our offense in this game was terrible. What's the gameplan? What's the offense? Nobody moves, nobody sets screens, if you take out those 5 straight 3's we made at one point we only scored 31 points. Figure out a way to score some points Mick.

You score 43 points you're not going to win a game. End of story, end of argument, this offense is broken and it's Mick's job to figure out a way to fix it. If you don't think this offense stinks and is the sole reason for this seasons failures you're a fool.

We were doing well offensively (for those 10 minutes) when we created turnovers and while they were in the zone. After we took the lead, we stopped creating turnovers and Gtown played tight man to man. This put our lack of offense on full display. Cash didn't shy away; there were just no shots available.

I don't think anyone is arguing that.

I really don't think they ever were doing well offensively. Cash hit 4-5 from deep and two were bad shots that he normally misses. As I stated after he made those, it's fools gold. They made 4 straight threes and that was pretty much it. Maybe a couple were do to good offense but it was very few and far between. This team has no idea what to do on offense. Mick is largely to blame but the offense completely stalls when the ball is in Cash's hands.

43 points....woof!! That's ugly but least they battled back. Hoping we stay at a 10 seed. I am sure the commitee will screw us and keep us at an 8/9

You need to stop reading into every single word just to disagree. By "doing well offensively" I meant scoring points.

When you can't shoot and your best offensive is getting an offensive rebound, you simply cannot turn the ball over more than your opponent. You cannot be a lousy offensive team and give the other team more possessions than you. It's a recipe for a loss.... a bad loss. Like today.

This game turned when GT extended their Defense. Sk being ice cold didn't help but Jackson,Modj and Rubles reverted back to the inconsistent performers they have been all year.None of them even looked at the basket.Of course thats if they catch the pass in the first place and don't thow it away if they do.With the score tied at 33 Modj had a offensive rebound and all he had to do was flush it instead he brought it down dribbled once and was stripped at point blank range. Narsuk in his limited time missed at least two passes that should have been lay ups. Those wanting to know why Cash and the others don't throw the ball inside is because those three are incapable of confidently taking the pass and going to the hole.Intead of going to the hoop with it the wings get a pass back with shot clock running down and have to heave one up. Thomas looked like a freshmen trying to do to much. Sanders can't guard, rebound or get his own shot consistently. Also those thinking Gelawn will run the Point next year should think again. One of the recruits better be ready to assume that position. SK is a stand and fire perimeter player who may improve his handle over the summer but he is most effect when he spots up and the ball is kicked to him. Thomas has skills but needs at least 25lbs.

That's my whole point. I don't consider it doing well offensively just because they are scoring points. Sure if they can sustain it I'd agree but it isn't sustainable, which is why they sucked in the second half. We've seen it all year where they just go on spurts and it's solely because they make some of their bad shots even though the offense was still shitty. This is a very poor shooting team and they do nothing to create open looks. Cash scored 14 points but did not play a good game at all.

The reality is that we are going to be lucky to win 1 tournament game this year. I've accepted that. Sure I'll cheer for a Final Four appearance but this team has not gotten it together the past month and a half. At this point, we've made the tournament and hopefully we get a win in it. But I'm not sure I would bet on it.

All year we have been having to overcome zero offensive support from the 4 and 5 spots. Our guards were overcoming that for awhile but then Cash got hurt, and SK hasn't shot as well. I also think our offensive gameplan could have been suited better to our personnel rather than a dribble drive offense that requires supreme talent. I think we took Yancy and Dion for granted a little bit. When you think about it, last year we had 5 legit scoring options on the floor. This year, when it came down to it, we had 3 (all guards) that allowed other teams to extend the defense on us and we have not been able to consistently overcome it.

All in all, 3 NCAA tournament appearances in a row. Anywhere from 4-7 years ago, I would've taken that gladly and I'll take it now. If this is a down year, that is a good thing and speaks volumes for the job that Mick is done. Just remember how terrible it was for out team to consistently not be in the tournament. Not an issue this year. I'm not saying we should be satisfied with this year's team. I'm just saying, this program's on the right track.

Go Cats.

If the ball goes into the bigs the rest of the team just stands around and watches. The bigs aren't exactly a bunch of Patrick Ewings. If you pass it in to them you have to cut to the basket and move off the ball which they do not do. Puts the bigs in a bad position. Of course I don't buy that they don't pass it to them because they won't go to the hole. The guards can't shoot yet they seem perfectly happy hoisting them up. SK has shown over the course of the year that he isn't a very good 3 point shooter yet he hoists them like he is the best shooter in the country.

Cash played fine. Jackson,Modj and Rubles were terrible. Did you see how far the defense pushed us to get a open jumper. You must be kidding Cash had a bad game. Those other three stooges didn't even look to score. If they caught the entry pass they did nothing with it except toss it out to the wing with the shot running down. Mick said it and everyone knows it you can't play 3 against 5. The sad part is with a recruit like Lawrence coming in if you give him the space rubles, jackson and modj had he would eat them up. cash had a bad game is laughable.

I agree. I don't expect them to win a game in the tournament. At this point I'm just happy that they get there.

They have know skills. Did you watch the game. You don't have to guard them. there is no threat of them scoring. the biggs are terrible. you think others are leaving parker,Cash and SK to double Modj,Rubles and jackson. Please!!!!We've had thsi problem all year. Did you see thomas today. Again you need skills to be part of the offense. jThey do not have any. Not just shotting but court awareness, passing. they pose no threat!!!!

Jackson isn't good. Mbodj is good defensively but doesn't have any offensive skills. Rubles has shown that he can't shoot and isn't good in this offense. Not sure what you expect them to do. They aren't all of a sudden going to be good. There are plenty of teams in the country that are good yet they don't have scoring big men.

What did Cash do that made you think he had a good game? The only thing you can point to is he made 4 threes. He didn't do anything else the entire game. He never drove, he never created offense, he never dished to his teammates. If you can count on him making those incredibly long 3's every game then that's one thing. Stats say otherwise though.

Sk being ice cold didn't help

SK didn't make any 3's today but what did we do to help make him successful on offense?? A guy chucking up a bunch of rushed or contested 3's is going to have a tough time getting hot. Half those of those 3's he took were with the shot clock getting ready to expire. What do we ever do to help our scorers get good looks? SK is constantly getting doubled every time he catches the ball and never makes the catch coming off a screen. It's really kind of a miracle he scores as much as he does in an average game.

Our bigs are very lacking in offensive skill sets but to say that teams don't have to guard our bigs is a ridiculous statement. Let's not act like teams are playing 5 defenders on our 3 guards. Of course they have to guard our bigs. All a team needs to do to stop us is apply soft full court pressure and slow us down. I'm surprised every team doesn't do this to us, it's really all you need to do to win. Force us into a half court offense and we're doomed.
