UC vs Rutgers 2

I really hope we have some depth on the interior next season (I know we do on paper). JJ getting in foul trouble all the time kills us. When he's not in the game, they're getting to the rim way too easily.

Will we ever get a comfortable lead and just cruise like Thursday night?

Rutgers is a talented offensive team, UC needs to step up their defensive pressure. That is what happens with three freshman on the floor.

I think Temple beats USF today getting them the 8 seed. So we'd avoid USF. Also, I am probably in the minority but I would rather play UConn/Memphis than SMU. Their pack line defense is a problem for UC and they have enough size to give Kilpatrick all kinds of trouble. Memphis wants no part of UC, you could just tell from their players and UConn is a much better matchup than SMU.

That's understandable. I just think this team would be out for blood against SMU and I'd rather play them on a neutral floor than UConn. I also don't want Memphis to get another shot at us on their home floor.

Unlikely. Conference road games are tough no matter what; especially because the Cats haven't really been a blowout team all year.

K now I am terrified. Bricks late in the second half, 3 point plays, crown royal down the hatch

Why does Kilpatrick keep chucking 3s? He's not hitting and it's giving Rutgers transition points and we can't set up our defense.

Jackson said after the Memphis game anytime someone drove at him he said to himself "do not foul" so he could keep playing on senior night. Why does he not have that mentality every game?
