Probably. ...but I'm going to wait
UC basketball...close but no cigar.
There was nothing inherently optimistic about that post. It was a number of suggestions on how we could have won games decided by two points. For some reason you thought it was optimistic. They were only suggestions
I get it. My point is, SMU fans aren't sitting around naming a few different plays that could make them 10-4 instead of 14-0. Only the team that loses does that exercise. No big deal.
We aren't SMU. We are Cincinnati. We have to figure it out. Of course fans who are 14-0 aren't going to be looking for answers . I still don't understand what you are talking about. We aren't SMU. ..we aren't 14-0
We have to figure out ways to win...i was suggesting ways we could do that.
Oh oh oh. I thought you were re-visiting out losses and saying if any of those scenarios are different, we would've won those games. So you're reallt saying we just have to figure those little things out for our future games. That clears things up.
BTW I've bit my tounge a lot on this issue and have defended Mick for the past few years on this board because some of the criticisms have been ridiculous.
It would be VERY hard to argue we can't beat top 10 teams without slight adjustments. I don't know if we will make them...but that's not the point.
If you mix in the Temple loss, it wouldn't be so hard to argue.
We are literally 3 buckets from being a top 10 team. I can't understand how anyone can argue that small changes couldn't amount to dramatic improvements.
Thomas and Ellis 2 seniors 4 pts 3 reb. man do we need a Rubles or JJ on this team
I swear we're going to be in the NIT talking about how we would've made it to the Final 4 "if only" A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O and P would've happened differently.
So what is your suggestion? Do nothing?
