The only thing you need to know is Jim Burr is the ref tonight. D*mn I haven't missed him. We are in serious foul issues. Guyn is having a good shooting game so far.
18 total fouls in not even 10 min of play.

This Upstate team is pretty good. Doesn't hurt that UC is awful without Justin "2 fouls in the first ten minutes" Jackson.

I'm sorry but our offense sucks so bad. Nobody moves without the ball. None of our players can finish 5 feet and in. They have no touch. Pretty sure Upstate has 16 points in the paint to our 2.

This is what you will see when we start to play good competition. That is why I am not expecting a whole lot from this team. No point of really counting on Jackson because he will miss most of the first half of virtually every game against good teams...

Completely agree. IVE said this many times but its do easy to scout UC. Just sag off, they can't make anything in the paint, let alone to finish anything. Sadly we are getting out hustled and out rebounded too.

Cincinnati has shot the ball pretty well from three and from the free throw line.
UC is 7/15 47% on three's and 16/19 84% on FT's. The problem is in between those two. When Cincinnati plays bigger teams, there will be no more easy drives to the rim. That is what concerns me.

I.E. New Mexico...that is going to be nasty. It doesn't matter anyways. We literally have no one who can finish around the basket. Thomas Rubles and Jackson have no touch. Lawrence isn't strong enough to get a shot up around the rim.

I agree, they look much better this half. The passing and movement is way way better. We are getting good looks at the basket! Really like what we are seeing out of Caupain. Even when he missed the dunk. :)

Cats have blown this game wide open, Upstate's game plan to force UC to shoot jumpers hasn't payed off. UC is 12/23 52% on trey's and 23/27 85% on FT's.
