I hope and pray we dont see Burr much more this season. I honestly thought he was retired after last year. He is so bad.

Excellent second half. Impressive effort.
I agree with both of these. JL is so quick on D for a big man...he can really get after it. He does a nice job on figuring out where the rebound is going to be as well. KJ finally got the monkey off the back with a 3 pointer falling. He looked good in many other aspects. Caupain showed us we at least have one other "decent" 3 point option.
Second half was off the charts. First half kind of sucked.

FT%: team nearly 80%
Pts: SK 22, TC 15, GG 15, KJ 9 (two frosh in there)
The most highly touted frosh isn't contributing as many points but he is on D and rebounding. We have a 3-4 game stretch to see what we are really made of. If we can take 3 of these games I will be really hyped up about this team.

Was listening to Cronin post game on 700. He mentioned UC fans really need to buy their tickets for the Crosstown game. He said he has been following ticket sales and was a bit alarmed by the sales so far. :-/ come on people!! Lol
I agree...but we just need to keep up the intensity with which we are playing and the wins will keep coming. We will need fans in the seats to help us win some big games. The hype is here on the boards right now...but I am not sure it's mainstream yet. We were #40 or so AP before this game. When we get up in the top 25 we will start to see some bandwagon action. As much as I don't like bandwagon...every team has it to some extent...but moreso at UC right now until we get that really big year where we make a final 4 or get in the top 10 toward the end of the season.
To fill the stands (night in and night out) we need to show we are consistently a top 10-15 national program (again). I really feel like over the next 3-4 years we are going to get back to that position we were enjoying between 10-20 years ago.
What else did he have to say about tonights game?

I blame Ticketmaster. I bought my tickets the minute they went on sale, and it didn't ask me "UC side" or "Xavier side". I just hit best available, and wound up with two tix on the Xavier side. Didn't know it till after I got them. Boy is this going to be awkward.

If only he could've gotten that dunk, I'm sure he will get a lot of crap for that. He played well and Guyn continued to be effective. I hope they play this well against better competition.

Yeah, I wish we could know what the deal is with him. He clearly looks like he is in the doghouse. Also, Shaq Thomas went MIA today, was hoping to see him continue to improve.

It was our best complete game so far. 2nd half was pure domination and thats what 40 min of pressure will do. He said we really need to get better at rebounding as a team. That really hurt us in the 1st half. He thought the refs had a really quick whistle and our fans got our first taste of the new rule change. We really made a good team look bad (in regards to the 2nd half). Chuck mentioned the solid play of Ge and Cronin said its really helped him bc he is getting consistent minutes. Also said JL had a nice 2nd half in the defensive end. Also talked about how Upstate was just packing it in on d and we had to make the extra pass to get an open shot. Said it was our best passing performance yet.
Sorry for the poor sentencing, I am on my phone and am quick typing. But that was it in a nut shell lol
