I remember a couple years ago when Spencer Ware's recruitment was first heating up an interview was done with him in which he was wearing a Midland Baseball cap. The Michigan crowd misinterpreted it as a Michigan hat because the "M" and color scheme are nearly identical. Funny stuff.
 
Good luck to him. I hope he does well. I am surprised he chose to go to a mid major over the big east though.

He will do well and Neveda has produced good talent recently.

For the lady who was close to Deonte that posted here regularly I want to thank you personally for joining us here. Very cool.

They did say Wed or Thurs....so an announcement today doesn't shock me.

Damn, thought we had him.
 
I am very surprised by this decision. I am guessing that playing close to home and playing time were big factors.

I disagree. I think he wanted to stay close to home and wanted playing time.

Lets not over blow this though fella's. He was listed as a 2 star prospects most places that was on the rise.

I think he could have helped us next season but to expect anything more than 5 minutes a game is probably not accurate.

Sky is not falling here. I do hope we get some better news tomorrow though.
 
The way our offense played at times last year was embarrassing. Losing a recruit that went to a good school not so much. I was hoping for the best, though. Next man up!
 
Wow.....amazing. 2nd again. If we could field a team of guys we have finished 2nd on. And I am waiting for the negative posters.

Burton has been hyped significantly on this board, and with good reason in my opinion. Now that he is not a Bearcat, I don't think you can legitimately downplay the impact he would have had, especially over a 4 year career here.

This was clearly Mick's #1 man for 2010, to lose him to Nevada is embarrassing in my opinion, again, I have nothing wrong with Nevada and no ill feelings to Burton or his family, but lets see Big East or WAC?? I think this was an example where the "lame duck" coach was used against Mick.

Curious to what you would have said if he committed to UC.
